As its coming near christmas with more people having time off and all the posts are based around news, i though i would create a new thread just to have something different to keep things a little more exciting. What new technologies would you like to see on future bikes or what current technologies do you wish you had on your own bikes. Even if you have an idea which has not been designed yet and would like to see it please show us : ) |

Ill get the ball rolling as i started the thread. I would like to see better intergration of the DI2 batterys especially within the TT bikes. Like on the cervello P4 there is a section within the frame work which is cut out for an aero water bottle. Why not have a section cut out within the back of the seat tube to have the Di2 battery to create a smoother profile. I also think shimano should work independently with bike teams and manufactures to create a battery shape which suits the bike frame. |

Have a look at the majority of new bikes on the market and you will see the batteries are actually inside the seat post so no need for an aero cut out. And Shimano has already designed a battery for this, Campagnolo has also done the same
It's been around for a couple of years
