Hi!
I need a little help! I have a new 16:10 TFT and I like PCM09. My monitors native resolution is 1680x1050. There is a choice for this resolution in the options, but something strange happens when I choose it: The monitor is fully filled with the image, but it's shrinked. So the circles are not rounded.
Is there a way to fix this? Can I play the game with good geometry in 1680x1050, or I have to live with the 4:3 1400x1050 resolution?
Thanks in advance!
**/
Ithink I know what is the problem: The game has the right resolution, but has wrong field of view (FOV) and the display is stretched, every circle is elliptical. So I have only one question now: HOW CAN I CHANGE THE FOV FOR THE GAME TO SEE THE CORRECT 16:10 RATIO IN 1680X1050?

I have a widescreen but wasn't able to make the game work. I can only play with a 4:3 resolution.

I thought there was a solution but I cannot remember, did you search the forum?
I found and old post from me in a german forum suggesting to play in windowed mode. But I never got an answer, so I do not know if it helps. |

There should be a xml file for the graphical options, maybe you can set it there.
I cannot remember the name but it should be somewhere in "my documents\pcm2009\"
If it is not in that file, you could try to search for other config files in c:\pcm2009\ (or maybe the config is in the pcm2009 folder in %APPDATA%) |

Thanks Lachi your are the only one who tries to help me, but I know the config files and there isn't anything like this. I tried a lot of other things too, I even manipulated the EXE file but nothing helped. I think it's a problem in the pcm10 too, but I saw good geometry pictures from the pcm11.
I can't believe I'm the only person who saw this problem! It's a small problem for programmers who workes with the graphic engine, so it should be fixed while ago. |
