Hi
I've just playing a career with BigMat using the PCM Daily Expansion Pack v1. The game crashes every time I click on the 'next' button just before the GP la Marseillaise.
I've tried using an older save from the weekly save folder instead, but it still crashes at the same point.
Can anyone advise on what else I can do to prevent the game crashing? I read somewhere that I might be able to 'fix' the stage, but I don't understand how?
Thanks

Update: I've been looking for stage file for the GP la Marseillaise, so I can try fixing it, but I cannot find the file anywhere in the CM_Stages folder. Any idea what it might be called?
EDIT: I've just loaded an older save an cancelled my registration to the GP la Marseillaise. However it still crashes at 30/01/2011 when trying to go to the next day.

OK, it seems even if I click on the GP la Marseillaise in the race calendar to see the race details, the game still crashes.
Despite numerous searches I can't find it in the CM_Stages folder. Is the race missing? |

The route in pcm daily db is not called gp marseillaise. it was not official created. try searching the stages forum and you can get an official stage for it that works.

If you load your save you can find the correct stage name in the table called STA_stage. Maybe you need to look up the race-ID in STA_race first.
Once you know what name the stage files should have, look if they exist. And to solve your problem you can either do what the_hoyle suggested or you change the file name in your save or even better replace the missing/corrupt files with the files from a similar stage. |

Thanks Lachi. I'm not quite clear however. So I load my save and then look for a table called STA_stage within the game? Or is the table in the c drive somewhere? I'm probably being stupid, but I'm not quite sure what you mean. |

open the savegame using the fast editor which you can download from the downloads section on here. there are tables with all the info in the editor including sta_race

Great, thanks the_hoyle.
So, I loaded my save into the fast editor. in the table sta_race, the Grand Prix la Marseillaise has a race ID of 302. In the sta_stage table however, it has a race ID of 2345.
Anyway, the sta_stage table says the gene_sz_stage_filename of Grand Prix la Marseillaise is c1_cholet.
I then searched the CM_Stage folder in the C Drive and could not find any file with this name.
So now to the solution. I did a quick forum post search but can't find athe Grand Prix la Marseillaise anywhere. How do I replace the missing file with a similar stage? |

Right, I figured it out I think.
I used the fast editor to find a stage with similar characteristics. I then copied the two files for this stage and renamed them to c1_cholet.
And, hurrah, it seems to work!
Thanks for the help |

here is stage in the forum. made by tsmoha.
https://pcmdaily.c...d_id=17993
download the file, open the rar file and unzip it to your desktop. then copy and paste to the folder with all the stages (think its cm_stages in your c drive - im at work on my phone so cant check on my laptop.)
paste the files from your desktop to that location. reopen your sace in the fast editor and where it says c1_cholet, click and change it to the name of the gp marseillaise. Save your file and reopen pcm to test (note: rename your save when changing it incase issue occur)
