I'm in my 4th or 5th season now, got 2nd in the Dutch 8th Division, now we're title candidate in that league.
Played this a long time ago (and for a couple of years), and started again last year, so starting my 5th season with my team (6th division Norway). Name of the team is Nittedal Dream Team
Currently training defending, decided to take that to build a secondary skill on 3 of my PM trainees from earlier (All 3 currently Magnificent (12) in PM and Excellent (8) in defending), and got 1 wing to train in defending (Formidable Winger, Excellent defender), 1 GK (Outstanding GK, Solid Defending), got 3 defenders with Head Spec (all Formidable defending) and 2 homegrown defenders (just for fun, both Excellent defending).
Planned for my team to be strong enough to promote in 3-4 seasons, will train defending one more season, then I will sell my former PM's, and 2 of the defenders and start a new batch of PM trainees with Excellent++ Passing, will also get 2 wingers with atleast Magnificent winger to use on the 2 50% places. I should be able to do this and still have some money to buy a World Class (atleast) Striker.
All divisions above VI in Norway are pretty tought, so have to score atleast 200 Hatstats for it to be worth trying to promote on not just demote at once, so gotta have a long term plan. I hope that my keeper and my defenders will be strong enough for me to do well with CA while my midfielders have low PM, then I will go more over to normal tactics when their PM grows and I can get atleast Inaduqate midfield ratings.
I would suggest everyone who are interested in football to try this game, it's kinda slow moving, but that means it demands little activity ;-)
