Crashes(race crashes not game crashes)

I have been noticing that when I play, crashes rarely occur, and when they do, they usually only affect 1 or 2 riders. Is there away to edit the frequency and amount of riders in crashes?

On my game there are mass crashes all the time  Not sure if you can edit them...

Yes, I've had 1 mass crash in 4 months.Is there a way to edit this?

Crashes happen fairly often in my save. They usually happen at the front of the race near the end of the stage, managing to eliminate several of the favourites for that day's stage. |

I always had the same problem on PCM 2010 i.e. only one or two riders crashing. I never saw a mass crash in many seasons of playing. I always assumed it was because I had to play on a low graphics setting? |

Yes, I have a desktop with great graphics on full setting and a laptop with horrible graphics with everything on 0. But both have the same problem.

I only seem to have mass crashes when the race includes cobbled sections or to a single rider at the very back of the race. I would prefer to see crashes during sprint finishes to sdd s bit of realism. |

Well,if you are a defensive player,(mass)crashes doesnt happen often,simply because AI doesnt pace that hard.

You don't see mass crashes that often, in general I think. After one and a half season I've only experienced a handfull of true mass crashes that have taken out half the peloton.
One occasion in my save was during Paris-Nice when Contador was taken out by a mass crash on the first stage. His entire team fell back, but this was at the 35km mark so the peloton was allready moving very quickly. In the end he lost more than 4 minutes. |

Very wierd - I've just had a mass crash on stage1 of the Paris-Nice as well. I estimated at least 35 riders went down, including 4 GC contenders |

Look at stories at the forum. Everyone of them had some mass crash of 30+ riders during the first months of the year, some of them even in Australia in January
