Making An Australian Grand Tour

Hey everyone,
I was just thinking of making an Australian Grand Tour.
The race will go for 30 days and will have 5 rest days.
I was thinking of putting these types of stages in..
6 Flat Stages
4 Hilly Stages
9 Mountain Stages
3 Individual Time Trials
2 Team Time Trials
I just wasnt sure if there were too many time trials. and if there is too many, what don't i have enough of?

I think 30 days is a little too long for a race.

Too many stages imo. Perhaps cut it down to around 20

If we want to be 100% technical about it, race day wise current GT's at the UCI limit of days.
Untechnically, tone down the number of TT's by 1 ITT and 1 TTT.

what do you mean about the race day wise?
well if its too much days thats a shame coz i was aiming for the longest grand tour! but well see
and yea i might do that (with the time trials) thats a good idea

I think,
20 days
4 flat stages
4 hilly stages
2 ITT
1TTT
7 mountain stages
2 rest days.
thats not too long and good amount of rests. |

The thing is, gooluck finding lots of mountains in australia unless your doe up and down uluru each day haha.

Well,
in my opinion you have to many mountain stages... I would rather go with 8 Flat stages, 5 Hilly Stages, 2 ITT's, 1 TTT and 5 mountain stages...
But it is up to you. And for the mountain stages, i would even suggest, that not every stage is a MTF. Still sounds like a nice project.
