In current game, i signed a young rider named Carlo Luigi Zorzi to my team which is De Rosa with a new sponsor..
I just completed a race, and imagine my surprise to come across exactly the same rider, also riding for Team Katusha.. Same name, same age, same region, exactly the same stats!
I didnt scout him in season 1, just signed him from the U23 rankings.
Is there a way to fix this? I only want 1 in the game so want to delete the 2nd guy from team Katusha or at least change his name and stats... Anyone else come across this? is there a way to make sure it doesnt happen again?
pcm creates the young riders by randomly choose names from existing riders. It sometimes happens that a young rider is created out of another young rider, so you get duplicates in the Young Rider-division, and later in the Pro-divisions.
You can open the savegame (Documents\Pro Cycling Manager 2011\Database\Solo\used database\name savegame.cdb) with an editor, such as Lachi's Editor or the PCM Fast Editor and delete or edit the duplicate rider.
