After my less then sane preview last year ( https://pcmdaily.c...d_id=12513 ), and a major personality change, I'm back once again with a ProTour preview, but this year, it's more serious.

For me to be able to complete the previews though, I need your help. I can't preview your team until you have:
a) Your jersey needs to be uploaded into the Shirt Database (I'm not going to bother getting the accessories right for each team though with my screenshots)
b) Under the manager section, there are 4 questions I'd like you to answer. They are:
(i) Your favourite management game rider
(ii) Your favourite management game race
(iii) The rider you most want (looking at both stats and wage) from another team in the management game
(iv) Your favourite management game team
Please PM your answers to me.
Previews will be done in the order in which these two conditions are met
Once all the teams are previewed, and all the articles are written, the aim is to compile it into one nice looking pdf.

The first part looks really great. I think you'll make it to a really, really great preview as like last year, I see some cool ideas in it, Crommy! I will tensily waiting for next and next parts for sure.

Unfortunately yes. It'd take far too long to do previews of all teams, but given this may become a more than one-off thing, I may expand it later on to get all managers involved

I've changed the layout slightly. Gone is the squad menu on page 2 of each team's preview, and in place of it is a return of the same guy who wrote last year's previews.

Well as Jack Wolfskin are possibly better than Pendleton's Twicer, I hate to think of the harsh words Crommy will have for them.
Hilarious previews so far
Only thing, I feel Carmeuse are surely better than one team in this seasons Protour!

Well, that was harsh
Yes, it wasn't the best transfer season, mostly because I had to pay almost 500k on Van Winden's wage, so I had to found cheap riders to replace the one that have left.
Maybe we are not going to finish on the podium as I'm hoping (and as SotD predicted, I like him more now, btw ), but there's no way in hell we are going to finish as low as 12th.
Very nice writing though.
CrueTrue, have you looked at his wage?

The thing is, with the rankings I found every team so evenly matched that I could have put most teams in any position, and it still would have been a reasonable prediction. I still think you might sneak into the top 5, especially if Gesink has the same season in the Ardennes as last year but slightly better due to the training, but it's still a gamble with Gesink. I hope it pays off though

I'm quite sure that in 2010, when he came 10th in the Individual Rankings, Gesink didn't ride any Grand Tour. And now now he is 1 stat better in the mountains and 2 in the hills department.
After last year's 10th place in Le Tour, I thought that I'd rather send him in 2 or 3 races where he could be on the podium or even win, than to spend 21 races for a very small amount of points.

Well if I came 13th then I would be ecstatic. I didn't think I had a great transfer season but apparently so. Thanks very much for a very well-written preview. But you definitely need some sort of clinic...
