I have no idea. I asked a Cyanide representative on another forum, and all I got was "it will be released when it is released"... Thanks Cyanide...

It came(1.0.4.2) on this page 4/10-2010, so I assume it was around then. |

On the other hand, the last patch for PCM09 was released in July, so you can't really use last year's "stats" for anything.
The regions bug is database-related, though, and can be fixed by yourself (yes, Cyanide should and will fix it, but until they do, we can ) |

Teams look in the wrong regions and thus never find any youngster to sign for their teams. |

Yeah, but he did ask when the final patch for PCM 10 came out, and said that if the same state of time would have been used for PCM 11.
Thats the reason I replied what I did. |

I don't think CrueTrue's comment was directed at you but more a general piece of information regarding last patches and the history of these. Just to avoid people getting the wrong impression. |

Does this mean you can't use your current database once the patch is installed? Or is this bug created in a database after starting a game? |

Is there a topic where this changing of your savegame database is explained?
At this point I have no idea where to start. |

Ok, that's probably the best thing to do.
I have a database I want to use, with some changes to the teams etc. Can I use this one in a new game with the latest patch? Or will I then again have the regions bug because it is in that database? |

Nobody can tell what changes the patch will bring.
If you have little knowledge about editing a DB, then the best approach would be to take the DB from the patch and redo all your changes. |

i cant say more There might be persons who think they know it but they only believe that they know it. The persons who programmed it, believe that they made no mistakes. Everybody else just believes what they are told. Therefore: Nobody can tell (assuming that, if you believe in god, you do not consider god being a body.) |
