Hi,

I was fancying sorting riders into strictly national (or regional) teams. Is there a way to ensure that AI teams will only hire riders from their own country/region? And what about the signing of young riders?

There used to be columns in DYN_team that decided which riders the team would go for. That has changed in PCM11.

Now, it's decided by the sponsors. For example: Find the sponsors of Euskaltel in DYN_sponsor (Euskaltel and Euskadi, ID 12 and 13). Now that you have the IDs, open DYN_sponsor_regions. Sort by fkIDsponsor and scroll to 12 and 13.

As you can see, it has a setting of "816" (Which is Basque), important of 3 (very important (meaning that Basques are very important to the sponsor)) and a value_i_wanted_squad of 100, meaning that the sponsor wants 100 % of the team's riders to be Basque.

But will the AI teams obey their sponsors' recommandations? Recruiting foreign riders would only decrease the sponsors confidence, but wouldn't be strictly forbidden, would it?

You can probably never be 100 % sure, no, but it's the only thing you can do.

I made a test run, Euskaltel signed 2 new riders, none of which were Basque... Also no team seems to sign young riders, I could have signed all the top U23 riders if I wanted!
