Is there anyway of getting a rider to have something like 70-75 in form for the Tour Down Under? I know that hardly anyone is ever in form for it, but is there a way to get your rider above 55?
Im going for the record with 2 overall wins. I've decided to go for records more then anything else now because I've been struggling with the motivation for continuing the game now... |

Training Camp
I think the fitness is set at random and you just have to be lucky that your main rider gets good fitness. |

you can fit in 2 training camps before the start. one is 10days long then like 4days after that to finish the day before the tdu.
and seeing that no other rider with other teams is in form, you shouldnt really need the training camps to get the overall or sprints jersey etc

Well, there should be no chance to get higher than 65 pre-race.
The highest starting fitness is about 55, and the schedules don't allow higher training than level 2 until February.
But even then, winning is easy there.
EDIT:
I'm leaving training camps out of my thoughts, just unrealistic effects.

I don't really like using training camps. I'm not one of those elitists who look down on those who do, I don't use them because I think it's to much work |

If it's not easy, it's not meant to be done |

You should select your riders with the best form at the begging of the season for TDU and set their training to level 2 when the tour starts. |
