sprinters do not sprint in carreer mode

I have a problem in carreer mode that hardly anybody is sprinting for the victory. The sprint usually involves roughly 10 mediocre sprinters while Boonen, Greipel, Davis and others do not do anything. This is no fun. I am having this problem in the Tour of Qatar, the Tour of Oman and for sure the last stage of the TDU. When I just play a single stage everything is fine. Does anybody know a quick fix? I'm using the 1.0.4.1 patch. |

Nothing new. This is the sprinting bug of the 1.0.4.1 patch that they tried to fix in the 1.0.4.2. But i the 1.4.0.2 it is impossible to pass the sprinter you are following so it is even worse 
No fix exists as I know...

Reverting to 1.0.4.1 makes it "less worse", which I guess is the best you can get for now.
