Hi friend of pcmdaily... someone knows me for the last PCM World Cup, now let's meet someone else making some stages for PCM 2010.
In this topic i will put all stages i made, then i will link them in this post using it like a menu. Let's build!

Chiavenna > Campione d'Italia
Type: Fantasy Stage
Stage depart from North of Como Lake. Then going to Suisse. The 1st ascent is Montespluga, the 2nd is the little Saint Bernard. Then the stage seems like plain but is not in this way. Because the 3rd ascent, Monte Ceneri is short but very strong and the final line is on Top of Campione d'Italia after a ramp at more than 10%. Stage who can be solved in an escape, or in a restricted sprint.

Spondigna > Bormio 2000
Type: Fantasy Stage
There can't be a stage harder than these in Giro. Riders depart before Stelvio and arrive in Bormio. Here go down to Brallo then climb the terrible Mortirolo. After the classic mountain of Giro the cima Coppi of 2010 edition, passo Gavia. All 3 mountains are done from the hardest side. After Gavia riders came to Bormio. All finish? No. There is the last climb where Damiano Cunego won the Giro 2004, with end on top, at Bormio 2000

Salle Les Alpes > Alpe d'Huez
Type: Fantasy Stage
In TDF 2011 the most classical climb of Tour History will be done twice time. That is possible by a road who links Alpe d'Huez with the Col de la Sarenne. So riders will go down on the North side of the Mountain, never made by Tour de France, get again to Bourg d'Oissans and climb another time. And if we put before Galibier and Croix-de-fer as in a classical stage... what can be?

Zafferana Etnea > Monte Etna (CTT)
Type: Fantasy Stage
The Giant climb of Sicilia attends. More than 30 km to ascend from Zafferana Etnea to the top. The asphalt road ends to rifugio Sapienza, then the end with dirt road... 1h30' about to reach the top.

I think ttt on 35 km climb is a nonsense. I am also making a stage from Catania to top, passing two times here, the 1st end where 1st time zone is placed, then the mountain will be also done from another side using another real road and reaching the top doing the climb before. About 160 km stage.

Do you think in a Tour de France only Alps or Pyrenees can do the difference?
Try this 235 km stage with Vosgi hills. In this stage 4 climbs will be passed.
The 1st is the Cote du Calvair, then the 3 harder, Petit Ballon, Platzerwaser and Grand Balon. The arrive is in Cernay. The lenght of this climb makes it harder, even if is of medium mountain.

A show in the city with most famous port of Europe.
The climb in the stage is the "Forte di Begato" asphalted the last year. Will be taken up six times. Also the arrive will be in the Velodrome posed in Via Vernazza.
