Ffs who decided that Purito and Nibali would turn up here? This was one of the goals I thought I might actually be able to achieve but now...
Trentino with a stronger top-end startlist than Romandie, cos that's totally realistic...

Nibali makes sense to me, he's Italian after all.
Purito is weird, but well, it's his own choice
Contador still has a chance though, and will at least perform a Top 3, that cannot go wrong.
Why did you send just 6 riders, btw?

My countered goals did.
@Jesleyh: Raceday issues. Felt people would be used better elsewhere (I've sent 6 riders to pretty much every CT race I've entered so far and don't really feel that the extra 2 domestiques make that much of a difference)

2 extra domestqiues make a difference in a TTT, but wait this is PCM so you only need 5 for TTTs under 20 km

An additional TTist would really make the difference here.
Plus, Contador needs domestiques if he want to get Purito back, I guess

Not sure why Basso is rated weaker than Pellizotti, but I guess I am just biased.
Top 5 in GC should be possible, although Purito and Contador shouldn't even be here. |

Tour of Turkey
Hello and welcome to the radio report of the Tour of Turkey's third stage. Let's get to it!
The first attacks come from Feng (CCS), Gerard (BSE), Cerny (CCC) and Louder (UHC).
They can't get away, but Louder attacks again and wins the first climb - a Cat. 3.
He and Feng get in the final breakaway as well as Labbe of Cofidis.
Labbe wins the Intermediate Sprint but makes no effort take full points on the next climb, won by Louder.
With 60km to go we have the first attacks from the peloton. They come from Rutkiewicz (CCC), De Ieso (BAR), Florencio (KAT) and Brandle (IAM).
Meanwhile Feng wins the Category 1 climb; lots of points there.
The two groups up the road join up, but they won't go all the way. The 3 members of the original break attack again with 13km left.
For some reason teammates of the escapees chase, and the peloton is back together with 8.5km to ride.
But the mid-stage chase group give it one more go! The same riders, this time led by De Ieso.
What's this!? No-one is pacing in the peloton! The leaders may win!
Despite this, sprinters such as McDermott, Guido and Harrini are dropped.
A yellow jersey group of 20 gets away, hoping to stay in contention for the future stages.
De Ieso has been pulling the front group for 4km now! Surely he must be tired.
But no! Off he goes on a solo attack with 4.7km to go.
Brandle tries to keep up but the Italian is still getting away with superhuman stamina.
And he takes the win! Behind, the yellow jersey group somehow catches the other riders and Winner Anacona comes 2nd.

@Jesleyh: Someone seems to like my previews
@Turkey: Not too bad, 29th. Meintjes should do better on the easier stages, so I'm not too worried

De Ieso? Seems legit.
Josh in the main group. Not bad but was hoping for more on this stage. Needs to have a dig in the next hilly stage.

2 Top 10s. Okay
Was it hilly or mountainous?
@Selwink Actually, it was the same layout as my MsR preview and basically my default preview

Huzarski with a decent rank in GC, but... stage win? I except more action from NetApp after the first stage.
