Why did he blocked you exactly?
I guess cause he said Horner is now the greatest American GT winner . Wich is true probably lol.
Lemond and Hampsten?
I know Lemond, and I completely forgot about him. Hampsten I never heard of, both are before my time anyways. |

Please do, I really don't know much about it, I just assumed it was better than Horner.

How am I acting funny?
And Hampsten likely never touched any drugs. He's a guy you can trust.
He did however only win because - the american media tries hard to never mention this - Breukink was about to take the jersey in the final TT when he crashed heavily in an oil slick left by a team car - Zimmerman crashed as well - Hampsten, being last on the road, was warned in time, stopped and did the roundabout on foot holding his bike.

Just when you think it can't get any worse (than Froome), there comes a 42 (?) years old half-bald head climbing like Contador did on drugs...
I mean, seriously? Just can't believe the guys want to make us believe in the cleanest generation ever.. On the other hand: maybe the old generation just fooled the new with it's good old stuff?! Anyway, if it wasn't such an obvious dope-head, i might have enjoyed a close race. Too bad, a pity this is.

I didn't get a chance to see the stage, but from what I've gathered by looking through the pages here, it seems Horner was faster than Contador in 08, amongst others.
Had it not been for that, I could have attirbuted Horner and Froomes sudden leap to the top as a sign of a cleaner sport, but this is just stupid...
Does this mean Froome will reach 20 Tour wins before retiring?

That and Riccò probably will return after his ban and still win a Tour. |

Yes, Ricco will actually maybe be riding in 2024, he signed a contract with Androni
I posted that 2 pages earlier, but it wasn't seen because it was the last post of the page

It was seen, but we all assumed that you had realised that's not a serious article.

It was an epic climb, and if it had been Horner cracking with 3km to go I would possibly say my favourite climb ever.
Sometimes shit happens.

Horner's power curve for the Vuelta can be seen here :
https://docs.goog...l566tof2wy
I wish I had Froome's and Nibbles' (Giro) to draw a comparison, but in any case, I'm quite certain Horner's is higher. |

The positive thing about today's stage, is that I saw a great battle between 2 cyclists for the GC-win. Nibali gave me hope that he could crack Horner, but one moment ruined it all. Think it was with about 3km to go, when he was just smiling during a 20%-piece. That moment I realized that he just had been playing and would launch his attack.
But as I tend to see things positive ( ), I now want to start training to win the Vuelta 2020, also at the age of 41. With the right preparation, it must be possible. That is the most important lesson I learned today: it's not about the age, it is all about the preparation!
41, no sign of weakness in 3 weeks against 3 of the best GT-riders (Nibali, Rodriguez, Valverde), and laughing at them while simply humiliating them. I just hope he gets caught. Even Froome looks clean compared to him....
Does somebody know about the Watts?

Just finished watching today's stage and I'm still unsure about Astana's tactical nous. Sure, Horner might have been stronger, but Nibali didn't help his own chances either with that early attack. And if Fuglsang and Tiralongo were sent in the break in the event of a "ladder" attack, what the hell were they doing? Didn't they get the memo to slow down?
Also, today's stage was a great start to watching this year's Vuelta.
