Can someone please tell me WTF happend to TJVG and Pinot, i allways new TJVG was overating but Pinot ......
And now its more than clear that the white jersey is going to be a battle of 2 and that Kennaugh and Meyer has no real chances.
Why did you even categorize Kennaugh? He was always going to be a domestique that did hard work and then let go after he finished.
And anyway Kennaugh might not get the prestige of White Jersey, but he has come of age finally. With Kiryenka gone and Thomas still struggling with injury, Kennaugh will be now vital for Froome.
I know that but in the Pre Tour talk were people talking abut Kennaugh, Cameron Meyer and Rohan Dennis as White Jersey contenders and i was like
I still cant find any info on Pinot and TJ........... |

Pinot was following good on the Pailheres yesterday but lost a lot of time during the descent (he has fear of descending) and also wanted to change bikes at the foot of the Ax 3 domaines and lost 6 minutes yesterday. I think he tanked today so he could get a stage win from a break later on

Pinot seems to have mental difficulties. Made Wiggins look like Nibali on the descent down from Pailhères yesterday.
Might've given up on his GC aspirations after that, and lost time today to open the possibility of joining breakaways later in the race.
TVG was just overhyped after what he did last year. Now that there are proper climbs and far less TTing, he doesn't stand a chance. He seems to be worse than usual though, so maybe struggling to return to top form after Cali as well.

Pinot ?
On a scale of Nibali (100) to Andy Schleck (0), he probably scores a (-50) or something like that when it comes to descending skills.
And it's not that much a question of skill, it's just that he's like what Farrar has becomes, he shits in his pants when reaching high speeds.
So, after being dropped yesterday, he totally cracked (breakdown) and still hasn't recovered from that today.
He should focus on the Vuelta IMO, their ______/ profiles should suit him well.
TVG struggled because of the heat I heard, I don't know to what point it's a reliable information though. |

Leipheimer and Horner also sucked in the Tour when they dominated everyone on mt Baldy
And didn't TVG crash hard during the first stage?

Tejay claimed he didn't have heat stroke yesterday, but all the symptoms he listed off to the media were indeed the signs of having heat stroke.

What was quite obvious during the Quintana attacks: Roman 'big gear' Kreuziger seems to have no acceleration at all. But he could very well be on his way to his best TdF result

TVg himself said he did have problems with the heat, but he didn't understand why. Because he didn't have those problems in Cali and he trained to withstand heat |

Froome.exe says that his teammates are human.
They can't be all machines
And good to see that Kwiatek gets support from guys like Velits and Chavenel instead of having 7 opqs riders waiting for Cav

I'm curious what Riis is going to do now that he's built a team around Contador and Contador is so obviously past it.
That is, if he's still around the sport next season.

He got 13th, 9th which later became 8th and 8th again. Im not so sure he's going to do any better than that this year.

So, does anyone dare to guess what the GC will look like after the TT?
I'm expecting something like this:
1. Froome
2. Valverde (around 4mins behind)
3. Kwiatkowski
4. Mollema
5. Costa
6. Fuglsang
7. Péraud
8. Quintana
9. Contador
10. Kreuziger

Gonna call it like this: Tinkov buys the team entirely and finds a way to merge it with Katusha.

Tinkov hates Katusha so so bad

Nice to finally see some vulnerability from Sky. Too bad no one could take advantage of it. Just from a Danny Pate perspective, I'm thinking Froome wouldn't have been isolated if Sky had brought Danny Pate instead of these guys that are turning out to be utterly useless (Geraint Thomas, Kiryienka, Siutsou). Even if Danny Pate were fatigued from racing the Giro, I'm thinking he would be more useful than these disappointments. Plus Danny Pate would have been more useful in the TTT, and they probably would have won it. Not that time is an issue for Froome at this point
Loving Quintana though too.

Only just catching up now. Amazing turnaround for Sky today thanks to some aggressive stuf from Garmin and Movistar. In end the net result was the removal of Sky's back up plan and strange that Movistar seemed to be thinking more of 2nd then first at times and never drove it home for whatever reason.
Anyway not going to focus too much on the end result but more on the spectacle that the racing produced - one hell of a stage. As for Sky wtf - tired, sick or just not that good? :/

Its hard to fault Thomas for riding with a broken pelvis
