I would take a wild guess at saying he's not a pro cyclist but maybe another fellow Norwegian that knows how to ski professionally?
I guess you're absolutely right, but you forgot to put down his name: Henrik Kristoffersen (if I'm not completely mistaken )
However, no clue concerning your cyclist. Rune Herregodts? Should at least be the correct team (and pretty much the only name I link to Vlaanderen - Baloise)

Kristoffersen it is indeed Herregodts is a good guess I think.

Herregodts is correct. Also one of the few names I know from that team nowadays! |

Lucky guess
Obviously, finding out who this one is is easy, so I'd like to know the occasion on which the picture was taken as well. And no, it wasn't a cross race ^^

2003 TDF, Armstrong avoiding Beloki's crash on the descent into Gap by riding down the grass between the hairpins. Don't remember which stage it was.

Obviously another free point for you
Absolutely correct. It was the 9th stage btw, on Bastille Day.
And history is what it is, but I definitely was (and still am) impressed by his bike handling in that situation! I'd never be able to stay on my (racing) bike there ^^

Haha, right in my wheelhouse. I was too young to see it live, but they used to have a whole series on Versus (old U.S. TV channel that would broadcast TDF) entirely dedicated to Lance Armstrong's "greatest moments." So I saw that stage quite a few times.
And yeah, setting everything else about his career, his behavior, and the sport aside, I would say Lance Armstrong was a pretty skilled bike racer.

Now, I am pretty certain that is Pello Bilbao. Or I believe I'm pretty certain.

Correct! It is Bilbao. He's an especially interesting rider to me. He always became a top GT favorite in all my PCM 11 careers back in the day. Then he seemed to fade into irrelevance for a while, then reemerged and became a legitimate WT contender/superdomestique. And he's still somehow only 31.

I feel his career could have been better, but I still like the guy.
Let''s see who is this rider.

All right, let's throw in some clues. The first image is when this rider won on Mont Ventoux in 2016. Last year she took the world by storm when she won against all odds another prestigious race.

Correct Apparently he used to be way smaller than everyone else his age, and he/his team was unable to find a bike that fit him.
