Jakob Fuglsang have chosen the money, instead of having a much more important role on the teams he has moved to the past years. I mean he only moved to Leopard-Trek because of the money. If he had stayed on Saxo - Bank he would have a more important role, than he had on Leopard. And now, he would've been a GT captain for OPQS, but he chose the money.
When i heard that he wanted to join OPQS, i was so glad, but now I'm dissapointed.
Pellizotti I agree. OPQS would have been a much, much better move for the great dane.

He will have a GT captain role there, i think, but on OPQS he would have a dane as manager. Soo, but yea, you are right. He will have GT captain role, i just forgot that Astana wouldn't have Kreuziger the next year. |

Well next year Nibali is going to be captain in the Giro and Fuglsang captain in the Tour, Ekstra Bladet says. Kinda surprising but nice for Fuglsang.

Bum deal for Brajkovic then, he's a better stage racer than Fuglsang too in my opinion, amazed he went to Astana, he would have gotten more opportunities to lead, as he wanted with Omega Pharma - Quickstep.

Not surprising at all IMO. With Contadope back and Froominator the chances of Nibali winning the Tour are 0%, but with Basso, Cunego and Scarponi with declining skills because of the age it should be easy for Nibali to win Giro and trying to do well at Vuelta too. On the other side Fuglsang wouldnt be able to win a Grand Tour so he gets the opportunity to get a top 10 at the Tour.

Very possible, yes. Unless he's fine racing with a team not fully dedicated to him.

Far out, i'm scared of next year's Astana.
Maybe they'll turn out like BMC this year though, and really do nothing.

No. I don't want to see him at Sky. I want to see him in a belgian team, especially Lotto. |

The Sky thought came to my mind today. Dave already said they want to strenghten their classic squad and with Flecha leaving, Sep Vanmarcke would be the ideal replacement.
Thomas, VanMarcke & Stannard would work well together. Hayman too if he stays. EBH is the unknown, 2013 is the year he must breakthrouh in the Classics and show his talent.
Miguel, he already said he will NOT sign for a Belgian team...

Is it confirmed that Flecha is leaving?
Definitely sounds like a logical move with Vanmarcke then.

Shocking move by Fuglsang, really. In an interview not long ago, he stated that he would rather sign a team and get a GT role, rather than take whatever gives the most money, and then he sign Astana? So dissapointing.

So dissapointing. I'm not a fan of the move either, but according to Ekstra Bladet he will get his chance to lead in Tour de France or the Vuelta. |
