Don`t know why people laugh at Froome, he rode smart today after having clearly trouble. Letting go and going at his own pace. He could have followed all the time and cracked, but some fighting and smarts prevented that. Good one. In the end, it only counts how far down you are the finish line and he's still in contention.

Of course I do... We have Navarro helping Contador, Contador recovering from an injury to come back as strong as he was before (Tinkoff must be glad he brought Steven De Jongh from Sky) and Froome losing contact and recovering even though he was suffering as hell, but still recovered and even went to the front to push. No reasons to laugh, right...
That was one weird mountain stage.
Froome seemed to have problems with his engine. His VroemVroem seems to had some starting problems.
Good to see Gesink attacked. Really nice he is back and maybe he can win a stage this Vuelta when Contador/Valverde/Rodriquez don't want to ride anymore.

First dropping back, then coming back, dropping back again, coming back again, then dropping back again, then coming back and finishing 5th?

Meh, kinda boring stage. Rodriguez apparently didn't have that much, I expected Caruso and Moreno to set a beast pace. I think the reason was yesterday's TT, Contador seemed tired as well or else I am sure that he would have give it his all with a couple left.

You can laugh all you want but last time I checked, cyclists are not forbidden to have friends in the peloton and to help each other. They used to be teammates and are known to be great friends. Most importantly, every rider is free to take a pull at the front. Navarro clearly felt good, seeing as he attacked once or twice. He may have helped Contador but he also surely wanted to keep the pace high in order to make riding tough. For his own benefit. That's racing. But apparently it's best to not do any work ever... But then people complain about wheelsucking... And so on.
Secondly, Contador may be much but he's certainly not as strong as he was before, at least not yet. He's getting there, and he will be likely be in third week. If he was as strong in Tour, we'd have way different race.
Third, apparently it's forbidden for Froome to ride at his own pace. Guy is always trusting in his powermeter, so he did just that. Did not go too far in the red and finished his race well. Nothing extraordinary and I for one think his learning from yesterday, where he started the race to fast apparently.

Don't know, don't like his face I guess . He comes off as an arrogant prick to me. Not saying that he is that at all, just seems to me. Don't really have a reason I don't like him. I just have some people who's face I just don't like. If that makes any sense at all lol.
