Was pissed off yesterday as British Eurosport didn't show the Omloop and wasn't exactly enthusiastic for KBK but watched most of the race and glad I did!
The three highlights of the race:
1) Luca Paolini's beard
1) Luca Paolini being the only one really up for the chase.
2) Tom Boonen winning a classic again

Nah, from San Remo onwards races start to get their own thread and people pay less attention to these smaller races.

Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!
Caught a video of AlmerÃa. Movistar killed it on the climbs until there were only about 15 left, then they made a train of Valverde-Rojas-Ventoso to lead out Lobato....and screwed it up massively while Bennett laughed all the way
EDIT: If you don't count the two teammates that he let finish ahead on purpose, Rojas was 4th

Expect 180 pages by the end of the year, just like last year, taking up half of your screen in the Cycling forum.
Personally, it's why I feel like it's better having more events like the Belgian opening weekend in its own thread, instead of having everything locked and forced into this.
I was doing a live-ticker of the race at tv2.dk and ended up looking like a fool after having written that GVA would be able to win it with one leg...
Great race, though.
One leg yes just not with one hand (thanks to his lost glove) that made all the difference
Great race indeed - it was good enough that, after already knowing the result, I still happily watched the last hour and a half recording of the live broadcast...in a foreign language.
