Great report! Doing it like a pro
Great win for Ligthart topping an amazing stage for TCS. Also nice to see Flahaut popping into the Top5

IMPORTANT NOTE:
Spoiler After the race, PCM crashed before I had the chance to export. Therefore, I only took the top 20 of the stage, top 10 of GC and the leaders in the other classifications. If you want to know how one of your riders did, where they currently are in the GC etc. etc., you can ask me and I will look it up for you.
CRITÉRIUM INTERNATIONAL
Porto-Vecchio-Porto-Vecchio 6,5km (ITT)
Stage 2 is a very short time-trial. Alto the profile might suggest it's hilly, the highest point is 37 meters above sealevel, so it can be considered flat. The last kilometer are going slightly uphill, likely the same as yesterday's stage. THe time-trial can create some small gaps before the decisive mountain stage of tomorrow.
Jakab Zoltan (TAP), Michael Rogers (DOM) and Jonathan Castroviejo (BUL)
Alex Rasmussen (ING), Brett Lancaster (TCW), Marco Pinotti (TUG), Manuele Boaro (NAC) and Fredrik Kessiakoff (SEP)
Lieuwe Westra (TAP), Patrick Gretsch (NAC), Yanick Ertzen (SEP), Kristof Vandewalle (LPU), Sebastian Langeveld (SEP), Dario Cataldo (TUG), Andrew Talansky (BML) and Chris Horner (AXA).
The first favourite to start today is Jonathan Castroviejo (BUL). He sets a time of 9 minutes and 9 seconds and is the provisional leader.
His leadership doesn't last long, because Tiago Machado (TAP) goes 2 seconds faster.
Patrick Gretsch (NAC) is also a favourite for today's stage. His stopwatch clocks 9 minutes and 8 seconds, which places him right between the Portugese and the Spaniard.
But then Gustavo César Veloso (BUL) beats Machado's time by 4 seconds. He was going so fast, that nobody managed to take a picture of him during his time-trial. They could only capture him after the stage.
Frederik Kessiakoff (SEP) doesn't come near the Spaniard and sets provisional 5th time, 6 seconds behind him.
His team-mate Sebastian Langeveld (SEP) does it better as his team-mate. He loses 2 seconds and is provisional second.
Mathijs Ruiter (ING) is one of the favourites for the GC, but he isn't very good in time-trials. He will finish in 105th place, 39 seconds behind the winner.
But will César Veloso be that winner. Chris Horner (AXA) can't beat him either. He is 4 seconds slower as the Spaniard.
Brett Lancaster (TCW) comes very close, but he has to concede 3 seconds.
Alex Rasmussen (ING) rides a great time-trial, only losing 2 seconds.
Directly after him, Denis Menchov (NAC) sets a provisional 7th time, 4 seconds behind.
And then, one of the biggest favourites for today's stage Michael Rogers (DOM) hits the road. He also doesn't manage to beat César Veloso's time.
Andrew Talansky (BML) is 5 seconds back
Cameron Meyer (LPU) was not seen as a favourite before this stage, but he comes very close to the first time. He's only 1 second behind and is provisional second.
Marco Pinotti (TUG) disappoints, finishing outside the top 20.
His team-mate Dario Cataldo (TUG) sets a better time. His clock stops at 9 minutes and 5 seconds, 1 second behind the leader.
GC-contender Nicholas Roche (TUG) rides a pretty good time-trial, finishing 5 seconds behind César Veloso, who is still leading. With only 10 riders to go, he might be looking at a victory today.
But who else than Jakab Zoltan (TAP) can spoil that party. He sets the new best time at 8 minutes and 56 seconds, which is 7 seconds faster than the Spaniard.
Zoltan will take over this jersey from Pim Ligthart (TCS), who is not able to defend his jersey.
But then, a disaster happens. Someone who was not happy about Zoltan's victory sets fire to the race organizers computer, which means the results are lost. The organizers are very angry about and are investigating who did this. They only managed to rescue the top 20 of today's stage, the top 10 in the GC and the leaders in the other classifications.

I was suprised that he rode such a good time-trial, and not being listed as a favourite.
Cunego is 36th, 19 seconds behind Zoltan.

Solid if a little disappointing from the TT riders Gretsch and Boaro. But Menchov nicely placed to launch an attack in the last stage

Come to think of it, why was Cameron Meyer not wearing his time trial NC? And I mean the general jersey, it was probably too late to add the one recently posted in my HQ.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

CRITÉRIUM INTERNATIONAL
Porto-Vecchio-Col de l’Ospedale 179km
Stage 3 is the desicive stage. In the beginning there are a few climbs. After those climbs a flat section comes which brings the riders to the foot of the Col de l'Ospedale (13,8km at 6,2%). On top of this mountain is the finish line today. The climbers can look forward to this stage, because this is why they came here.
Jakab Zoltan (TAM), Mathijs Ruiter (ING) and Damiano Cunego (BUL)
Nicholas Roche (TUG), Nairo Quintana (ING), Rein Taaramäe (PER), Chris Horner (AXA) and Dario Cataldo (TUG)
Denis Menchov (NAC), Andrew Talansky (BML), Michael Rogers (DOM), Steven Kruijswijk (TCW), Rinaldo Nocentini (PER), Hubert Dupont (NAC), Fabio Duarte (MAG) and Christian Vande Velde (RBM)
A lot of attacks take place in the first flat part, including Sebastian Langeveld (SEP) and Francis De Greef (ING). None of them can succeed, because TAP-Michelin sets a high pace directly from the start. The first six riders at the first mountain sprint are all TAP, with Cyril Gautier in front.
A breakaway group forms between the first and the second climb of today. Members: Tom Dumoulin (TCS), Lawson Craddock (CSC) and Jesus Herrada (MAG)
The peleton (well, TAP does all the work) decides to let them go, together with Matteo Montaguti (PER): He wins the third mountain spirnt of today, in front of Herrada and Dumoulin. They have a lead of 2 minutes and 30 seconds over the peleton.
Montaguti also grabs the next mountain sprint in front of Dumoulin, who is now provisional leader in this classification, and Herrada. The gap with the peleton is more than 4 minutes.
Jan Bakelants (LPU) attacks out of the peleton and tries to bridge the gap.
We reach an intermediate sprint, and guess who wins it? Montaguti in front of Dumoulin and Herrada. Craddock is apparently not interested in sprint. The four riders have a 3 minute lead over Bakelants, which has a 2 minute lead over the peleton.
Another intermediate, another on for Montaguti. But this time Herrada beats Dumoulin. Bakelants is closing in and is only 1 and a half minute behind.
30km to go. Breakaway has a 1 minute lead over Bakelants and a 1 and a half minute lead over the peloton, which is lead by Domino’s and TAP.
Sprint. Traditional order: Montaguti-Dumoulin-Herrada. Bakelants has been caught by the peleton.
10 kilometer to go and Montaguti is the last one from the breakway to get caught. He'll get the combativity award for today. The peleton, which consist of 92 riders, starts with the final climb.
Attack from Denis Menchov (NAC), Rinaldo Nocentini (PER), Paolo Tiralongo (RBM) and Andrew Talansky (BML).
But they are caught. Now it's Steven Kruijswijk's (TCW) turn to attack.
He also gets caught. Talansky tries it for the second time.
1 kilometer to go and Talansky is still in the lead. The 2 biggest favourites, leader Jakab Zoltan (TAM) and Mathijs Ruiter (ING), attack out of the remaining peleton.
Close to the finish and it's Zoltan vs. Ruiter vs. Talansky.
Finish. The motorcyclist crosses the line first but it is Jakab Zoltan who grabs the victory in front of Ruiter and Talansky. Zoltan will of course win the GC as well.
Menchov wins the sprint 30 seconds behind the three, in front of Dario Cataldo (TUG), Kruijswijk and Nairo Quintana (ING). These four managed to jump away from the peleton in the last kilometer. The peleton finishes 30 seconds behind them.
And here's the last group. Nobody finishes outside the time limit in this tough, exciting stage.
