Problem with Betancur is he has the work ethic or a paralyzed stripper. He would rather party in Colombia than train and he weighs about 100 kg.

Goss is leaving Orica for sure after this season. So I can really see him joining MTN to have a restart after weaker years. |

Does that mean we'll see Bos, Boasson Hagen and Goss in the same team?
That would be one great transfer season for them. With Meintjes and few more African talents developing more and more, Van Rensburg coming back, I think MTN could be the best PCT team next season, easily.

I heard that they're dealing with Farrar as well.
Anyway, it seems that it is a done deal for Team Sky with Wout Poels.

Imagine Goss and Boasson Hagen will even find their top form again.
Also Farrar I think is still rumoured with them, right?
Cummings as well could be a nice addition of course.
Nevertheless it will definitely be a very strong team next season. |

I don't want to see Farrar go to MTN, I'd rather another PCT team. MTN already has Ciolek, Bos, Goss and Boasson Hagen now. What's the point.

Are Goss and Bos confirmed yet?
However, I could not agree more. I don't get why they want to sign so many sprinters. Maybe they take in account that one or two of them won't get back to their original level, so they want at least one or two really delivering (e.g. Goss wouldn't deliver, so he could be a great help for Bos or Farrar). But still, Ciolek is already a great sprinter and has his train. Boasson Hagen now is iirc nobody who really needed strong sprint support. That would be a whole sprinter overload and I seriously doubt they can make that work as good as f.e. Lotto or Argos.

Yeah, but it could really be an outstanding team in classics like Milano-Sanremo. They all are good punchers, too, and Farrar does well on the cobbles, too. The only "pure sprinter" is Bos.
And don't forget Sbaragli, he renewed a while ago, so he will be there until 2016. |

Anyone saying Ciolek is a great sprinter, should check his results this year Very average at best.
Anyhow OPQS signs David de la Cruz from Netapp.

Team Alonso will ride on Cervelo bikes. Link.
Also, quite surprisingly - to me at least - OPQS has signed David de la Cruz from NetApp. Link. |

I know, this year was not his best. Not to say really bad. But last year he was quite successful, not only because he won Mailand San-remo but also he won stages in stage races (Tour of Britain, Österreich-Rundfahrt, Bayern-Rundfahrt f.e.)
Don't you think that after a bad year another good may come?
EDIT: Yes, i shouldn't have called him "great". But I still think he can be considered a "good" sprinter. sad that this year he is kinda weak, would have liked to see him in Vuelta last year..

Already last season I saw Sbaragli as faster in many races. But often Ciolek got the train instead.
This season Sbaragli indeed seems to have made the next step and clearly overtook Ciolek in speed and positioning.
Positioning and timing probably are the things that Ciolek never learned and never will. Always those 700m sprints when actually having a good wheel... |

These bastards .... David is talented climber, not a coming star, but talented.
If Koenig and Machado will leave, it will be a taff saison for netapp, thought the have longfuture plans... but they def. has the chance, to start next year WT, or?
edit: And now i´m reading, IAM won´t start next year in the WT .... Oo
So now Netapp could really plan for WT ... but ... ?

Netapp isn't planning to be a WT team next year, they will have a Conti-Pro license again.
Pardilla to leave MTN-Qhubeka: https://www.spazio...cita-40678 (Italian)
So, what the hell are they doing?
Are they focusing only on classics?

He is still a valid rider for Mountains. And they will lose experience in a young team... |
