Sad to hear . Hopefully you'll convert this story to another DB+career some day and continue. |

Damn, i've been so busy with school i didn't realise this was going untill now.
Very sad that you're stopping, but even just getting this far is a massive achievement. I think it's also safe to say that this has been the best PCM 13 story by miles and i'm sure it will stay that for a long time. I'm sure one day Bunzl will be back and stronger than ever. So,
THANK YOU!

Sad to hear that the story has come to an end, has been watching every single video you've posted, and nice to see one of my team packs beeing used
Hope you'll consider to continue the story in the future, or at least do something similar!

Thank you for this, thank you for letting me take part, and thanks for the inspiration to turn my up and coming story into a video story

can't change what you can't control, real shame to see this go but if you don't like doing it anymore than there is no reason to continue |

What a shame, this was such a great story. Most stories obviously don't make it this far, in the beginning I never expected that we'd be this far anyways. Putting out more than 50 parts that are 20 minutes each is not easy at all.
But anyways thanks brewers, I really enjoyed coming home from school and seeing Bunzl videos pop up in my subscriptions. Hope you'll keep the DB and maybe, just maybe () find that motivation again.
baseballlover312, 06-03-14 : "Nuke Moscow...Don't worry Russia, we've got plenty of love to go around your cities"
Sarah Palin, 08-03-14 (CPAC, on Russian aggression) : "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke"
Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!

That's sad to hear but understandable.
The most important thing is that you're enjoying it, otherwise there's no point in making a story.
So Thank You for putting a lot of time and effort into this. I enjoyed the story very much and watching the videos became a daily routine for me
I still have hope for the revival of Bunzl after you'll have taken some time off. Or maybe we'll see another project from you or videos of other games |

Now i've got to go edit the DSG...
Not trying to put a downer on anything, but this was coming. Using that earlier version of the game was always going to throw up some major problems. At that stage the game was just flat broken, so even getting this far as a non-WT team was impressive.
You also suffered a normal phenomenon of being too powerful. The team was better than a lot you see created, but it (at least to me) looked that bit too good. Which was confirmed by the dominance shown. I think that starting a "your rider" team should only be done at WT level, or really really weak.
The videos were good, and clearly improved over the run of the story, as did your commentary. Both could be improved, but nothing is ever perfect. You chucked out videos at an incredibly fast rate, and i think that if you slowed down a bit you could have got further. Two videos a week would have been plenty considering the amount of time that has to go into making them. And if you limit yourself it can build the excitement and enthusiasm needed to keep such a project going.
Another good point of this story was the detailed development system. It was always very clear what it would be and it proved to work effectively, if a bit quickly due to success.
On people following. Just look around the other stories in the same line. Always massive interest during sign up then it drops away leaving only the normal readers/commenters left, with very occasional comments from the others if their rider does something noteworthy. That's the way it is with any story, views massively out does comments. If your lucky you'll average 5 comments per post, and you were getting heaps more, so i wouldn't worry. And people will always drop out of the site. There are over 90,000 members and how many people you see commenting regularly!
Really well done. Beat a lot of expectations. You'll know some areas to improve in future, whether that be story writing or video editing etc.
And you get to stay in the DSG, congrats!

Thanks to everyone for their support and understanding. I didn't take the decision lightly but as TMM said above, this version of the game was just broken, plus with the Real Name DB, the long-term career would have been crap as well. Whilst I'm not one to blow my own trumpet, I do think I did very well just to get to (almost) August with a story like this, so thanks for keeping it in the now world-famous DSG .
And as I said, once I have had a long break and played a career of my own with the Exp. Pack, I may resurrect this with a better DB and a better story all around ready to take the WT by storm in 2014 |

This was great indeed.
I've nominated this for Team Story of the Year as well.
But it seems like I was the only one

It's DSG archived so yeah, great indeed!
The fact Day in the Life was nominated and Double Feature wasn't says a lot. People didn't really look back apparently... (That said i didn't nominate it, but that was because my nominations went to more complete and long lasting stories)

Yeah, guess that's true.
Though there are a lot of nominations, and maybe people just can't remember everything and can't be bothered to dig through the Story forums just for a nomination.
I really enjoyed this though and also because it probably was really time consuming, I nominated this

WTF! Bump of the century!
Sorry but it won't be returning any time soon as I can't play 3D races on my current computer.
Thanks for the nomination Jesleyh, though as TMM said I was never expecting it as it wasn't going in Nov or Dec. Ian Bibby didn't get nominated either and that finished in the Spring, when in my, admittedly very biased, opinion, it should have been nominated. I just time my stories wrong for awards.

Would have been nice to see a season completed but never the less it was a great story. It must have taken sometime and effort at the rate you were posting videos. |
