I hope you stick at it brewers. I am really happy to be a part of this like kyanto says, you are getting lots of views on the YT channel. Not everyone comments on the thread, but they still might watch the videos.
as for your motivation, I might be able to identify why that is getting low...
1. You have put out a video with at least 4 stages in it nearly every day since the story started. Maybe try taking a break from the story and play another career just for yourself. You will get your hunger for bunzl back, plus fine tune some of your skills
2. Yes the WT bug is an issue and that has meant that a strong bunzl squad isn't challenged as much as we would like in the races, but the results are still varied. In the mountains we seem to do fine, yet the sprints are all over domination or we are struggling. That big extreme to the other is clearly affecting you, and you can see it in the videos. You need to enjoy the game more and accept that these results will happen.
3. Another thing that won't help the demotivation will be your always focusing on other riders stats and questioning why they are better than someone like Zoltan for example... Sometimes a weaker rider wins a race or a sprint (just look at some of the sprints that Cav has lost in the past). It isn't always a bug. Lots of factors come into play (fitness, number of days raced, daily form) so the lower stats aren't the be all and end all. The same with other teams not working in the peleton or stop riding full stop - why should they be expected to do all the work if you are the favourite. Sometimes you need to do some work as well and not blame the game when it happens. Again these things happen in real life, especially when the race is over for a group and there is no point chasing a lost cause. Like I said for point 2, you need to learn to enjoy the game and not let these things get to you. You can't win everything
Time for me to post. I follow this story from the beginning but this is my first post . I have to say keep up the good work this story is the best story ever so far for me. Don't lose your motivation man ppl follow but are too lazy to post me for example
I love it how you get loads of comments if you have a strop!
And of course I'm aware that people are watching and following but the comments really help if I'm struggling to find motivation.
Just going to respond to this because you clearly put a lot of effort into the post

I do agree with this and with a certain something being on the horizon, I am going to take a break. Sorry to people that are enjoying it but I do need to do something else. And what's wrong with my skills?

The WT bug has annoyed me as well, believe me! I realise I enjoyed the NC's so much just because I got to see the WT jerseys And do you think I would have got to part 50 if I didn't enjoy the game?

I don't agree with this though, I do enjoy the game and most of the time, it's just sheer disbelief rather than frustration. I'm fully aware you can't win every race and wouldn't want to. I'm not a 12 year old on FIFA! Sometimes it does sound like I'm annoyed or angry in the videos but that's just my voice and there's also a lot of tongue-in-cheek "false anger" from time to time. I know how the game works, I have played it quite a lot (obviously) and I do enjoy it 99% of the time, but nevertheless I appreciate your advice and a break is definitely coming up after a couple more videos.
Thanks for the reply to my parts. Sorry to hear that you are going to take a break, but sometimes it is needed. The story will be back bigger and stronger. All the best stories on here are like that
There is nothing wrong with your skills. I did not mean it like that. I just meant that playing with different teams can home your skills and you learn different ways to race. Every team has its strengths and weaknesses, and you can never stop learning new tricks
Also I did not say you are not enjoying the game. I just mean that the extremes of a great win in one race, followed by a disaster the next stage even if everything was all going to play can really demotivate you a lot and sometimes that comes across in the commentary. Not all the time, but sometimes it does.
I hope you don't think I was not criticising you with my post, it was just giving you a few pointers from my observations etc
Not at all the_hoyle, all advice and constructive criticism is welcome. You, among others, have been a great follower of this story, offering advice, motivation and above all always being here, despite not being in it at the start, so thanks a lot
Anyway, there will definitely be a video tomorrow and then hopefully one on Tuesday, then I shall be off for a while (I think).

I might have not commented much but have been following all the videos so don't worry about the comments too much.
As for the weird transfers, I usually edit them to keep the field competitive. AI just can't handle multiple leaders efficiently. I would change Froome to a team that haven't top tier GC-guy and which would seem realistic enough.
LOL at TDF results
baseballlover312, 06-03-14 : "Nuke Moscow...Don't worry Russia, we've got plenty of love to go around your cities"
Sarah Palin, 08-03-14 (CPAC, on Russian aggression) : "The only thing that stops a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke"
Big thanks to jdog for making this AMAZING userbar!
Right guys, here's the post you no doubt expected and maybe dreaded.
Thanks for following this experiment, it has been really fun and I did enjoy it a lot. However, in the last week, the story has been on "life support" because it's just not as enjoyable as it was. Mainly the WT bug was the reason but also the concept felt a bit tired. I got the confirmation yesterday when I couldn't even be bothered to finish the Tour Alsace.
It is hopefully not the end as I might come back with the PCM.Daily DB in 2014, when the team is at a higher level, and with some new ideas. But for now, this is the end. Thanks to everyone, especially for the story of the month award!
Do not be upset though for the Expansion Pack is nigh!!
No... Brewers Nooo... But if you feel it is time to end, then so be it.
It really was great to watch these videos, not because of the gameplay (watching these videos the AI is absolutely dire compared to PCM2011 so I will be sticking to PCM2011 for a very long time yet it seems), but because of your well executed videos.
It would be great if you could think about uploading footage from other games such as GTA 5 as I will be sure to watch them mate.
