No, he did not.
Still deserved win.
Watch the replay. Fuglsang would lead for like 200 meters, and Martin would come surging by for like 400.
Maybe not that long, as Fuglsang led most of the descent, but that's because Martin is a horrible descender.

Paul Sherwen's blunder was kept right to the end. He had a decent day today (apart from his usual stupidity), but this one took the cake:

Sort out your shit man, this was clarification of yesterday.
What exact clarification? That Froome is doing really well? yeah. But the rest of the team cracked and it was a great stage, don't cry about it maybe being doping when he never tested positive, it's pathetic. |

The stats were on the screen: Fuglsang did 60%, Martin 40%.

What should Fuglsang have done instead? Stopped riding until Martin would take the lead in the last kilometre? They would probarbly have got caught then.
And i don't think he worked that much more than Martin. Most of the time we saw Fuglsang in front was on the descent, where he simply was better than Martin. I don't think he used that much energy there. |

After what was the most promising start of this stage, it turned out to be a boring 2nd half. Big chance to screw with Froome but Movistar became Team Sky. |

Most of the end was steep descent. Would you rather have the atrocious descender on the front so they get caught?
I meant once it flattened out.

How do you think that poor tactis by FailStar is a fantastic stage?
The tactic of Garmin made the race for me, and it wasn't a really bad move at first, only stupid that Froome could follow easily. (I mean the attack on the flat) Froome is just unbeatable. I still don't get the riding by Quintana though, that was really awful lol. |

So why do you say last 20kms? In last 20kms, Fuglsang did more, simple.
And i am glad Martin won btw.

I was wrong to say 20 km. I meant like 8.
Garmin should do that every stage!

Probably still riding the last climb of the day. Maybe an 1 hour loss today? |

They cracked 20 hours after being absolutely dominant with six riders, that is not normal.
First two hours of the stage were great, after that Movistar ruined their chances and did brilliant work for Froome. They just ride for 2nd.

Seriously?
You think that it a good tactic up till the point where Quintana did the only right thing (albeit too late)?
