Mollema might get himself a couple of seconds to the other guys, he was right up there in the sprint, and there were gaps there.... |

Mollema's got 4'' on Nibbles and at least 5'' on the rest. Good move.
Kessiakoff in Mollema's group as well. So Mollema has won more time today than RodrÃguez yesterday. lol

He has taken 4 seconds to Nibali and 5 to Fuglsang. That plus the bonification seconds he took earlier today.

Mollema also had 6 bonification seconds in the sprint
So he wins 11s on Wiggins etc today and 10 on Nibali.

Great sprint that. Pity about Kittel, but I guess that the more technical run-in is something he will get better at with experience.

Yep. The Skil train put him in the 10th or so position with 1 km to go, but he disappeared in the little climb. He was dropped previously with 12km to go, so not really surprising.

I'm starting to see Kessiakoff as an actual podium contender. He shouldn't do to bad on the Angliru, as he has shown that he isn't bad on those steep climbs (Kitzbuhler Horn).

A pretty good stage today, not a very surprising win though. Sagan is killer on these types of finishes and did what he had to do. |

He didn't just disappear, he blew up.

Well Kittel said before the stage that he wasn't feeling well and that it would be his last day racing in the Vuelta, so I think on normal terms he might have survived that little hill.
Edit:
Reading the comments above it looks like the race broke up. In which case Kittel most definitely wouldn't have been in the lead group.

He was in the lead at the bottom of the hill, but when Cancellara got to the front, he suddenly disappeared, he simply couldn't follow the pace on the climb.

Unneccesary time loss. Probably caused by bad positioning.
