Our squad
Armin Berg-Hansen will ride for a good GC. As a good time trialist he might actually stand a chance.
Jonas Ek is here for breaks and helping the rest of the team.
Khieu Tet Khamphan as well.
Taeke Roorda is another time trialist who will try to ride a good GC.
Ásgeirr Silferberg is our third option for the GC. What a luxury.
Djaja Susanto will be our sprinter here. The Swede should do well in the mass sprints.

2 TTs and 4 flat stages. Hm, I wonder who will win overall, if a sprinter or a time trialist...

Selwink
@Nacho: Hopefully we can take something indeed, perhaps the mountains classification?
@sutty: Indeed!
@the_hoyle: As the report said, he's unfortunately out for the rest of the season. No WC for him Sad
@calamada: I don't mind who it is as long as it's one of ours Pfft Welcome aboard btw

Expectation
Top-20 or something. It'll be hard to perform here anyway.

Race report

Djaja is the first rider to set off. He's not a good time trialist, is past his season peak and is having an off-day. 8'49 is his time.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2144.jpg

Our next rider on the road is Ásgeirr. His time of 8'22 is good enough for a provisional 6th time.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2136.jpg

Taeke sets a time of 8'28, provisionally 12th. Not too bad.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2137.jpg

Of the absolute favourites Durbridge is the first on the road. 7'52 is his time, which (surprise surprise) is the fastest so far.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2138.jpg

Khieu is our 4th rider for today. 8'41 places him far away from the top spots.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2139.jpg

Elmiger is the next of the favourites. 8'09 places him second so far, but far after Durbridge.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2140.jpg

Boucher sets a time of 8'05. A new second place behind the Aussie.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2141.jpg

Armin sets the same time as Ásgeirr, which is currently good enough for 13th/14th.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2142.jpg

Jonas isn't the best time trialist and qualifies somewhere near the middle/end.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2143.jpg

Zakarin loses 19 seconds to Durbridge. 6th provisionally for him.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2144.jpg

Lancaster seems to make it a 1-2 for Orica. His time of 8'01 places him in second.

A few good top 10's in ToB. Some good options for ToC II, will be interesting to see if anyone can ride a GC. Smile

Time to revive this again! I'll try to create as many reports as possible today to keep this thread a bit more alive.

@MARS: Indeed!
@sutty: Let's hope so Smile
@nacho: I think so as well
@hoyle: Well, with another TT coming up we'll see.
@mvh: It's not impossible hopefully.

Do well, join the break.

Race report

Heiko is part of the break of 4 today. Being 'only' 8 minutes behind he's the highest qualified in the break.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2197.jpg

With +-50km to go Boily, Goesinnen and Partridge attack. They've got to bridge 2m30 towards the leaders.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2198.jpg

More attacks, as with 40km to go Hayakawa, Rodriguez, Stemper and Anderson attack.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2199.jpg

With 10km to go the 4 in the lead still have a minute lead to the chasers and over 3 minutes to the pack. Hamelink therefore decides to attack.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2200.jpg

At the foot of the Haytor, 4km from the line, he is caught though. The 4 leaders still have a minute and it seems like Heiko can go for a stage win possibly.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2201.jpg

Nankervis starts his sprint early. House can follow, Heiko has more difficulty, Hamelink has already been dropped.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2202.jpg

At the line
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2203.jpg
the podium doesn't change. Nankervis wins ahead of House and Heiko. Rodriguez comes 4th.

Expectation
Join the break or so, hard to have high expectations here...

Race report

It takes a long while, but eventually get a break. Jonas is in it.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2205.jpg

With just over 10km to go the three leaders are caught.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2206.jpg

With 5km to go we set up a sprint train for Djaja, our main sprinter here.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2207.jpg

The other sprinter teams are strongly represented as well, so it seems like we'll have a chaotic sprint.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2208.jpg

It's a bit more clear with 1km to go. Almost nothing changes, except our position. Thank you IAM.
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2209.jpg

At the finish 'line'
i40.photobucket.com/albums/e206/Selwink1/Projob%20odfjell/PCM2210.jpg
Lobato wins, just ahead of Sbaragli and Colbrelli. Djaja was very quick in the end, but has to settle with 19th.
