Is it the end of the season yet?
At least my Dev Team is having a great season.
Might be time for a cull.

Big one for Balkan. Also great to see Aviva strong again and also Pedal Africa having a really good season so far!

Stage 5 video is blocked for copyright reasons for me.
I'm very happy with the result, Poels was only beaten by the top dogs Nerz and Herklotz - and also Berhane, I think he overperformed in nearly every race he's been in. Monsalve could have done better than 12th, he was dropped early on stage 4 (a crash maybe) and heroically clawed his way back, but it cost him all his energy. And Minguez, who had been without a prestige point before the race, is 3rd in the KoM ranking and 19th overall, good job.

Cheers! Great performance by my boys on that last stage. Minguez ahead, Bibby with long pulls at the front of the peloton, reducing the Grijalba threat. Then an attack by Monsalve and Poels joining him a little later, excellent move. Wasn't quite enough, look at Berhane, on paper another MON 76 guy, but he drops Nerz and Herklotz and passes Poels and Monsalve... wow. Congrats!

Horrible. Berhane snatching away second place from Herklotz in a pathetic last stage in Andorra after he looked to be well out of it, and completely faltering in the last k on Ventoux against much weaker opposition.
Brus in a great 8th place can't cover for those bad endings. Yes, there were no DNFs or such catastrophes, but this is absolutely not satisfactory.

The almighty Herklotz beaten at last! What a month for Aviva, three races, two wins! Outstanding! CCC with that scary train on Mont Ventoux, but there seemed to be a disagreement about who should work for whom.

The first two stages of Circuit des Ardennes were pretty good, 4 of our riders are still in contention but there's still a long way to go.
The climb up Ventoux was underwhelming from Caruso, in this kinda competition he should have at least made the podium. Lang was good once more, Cattaneo again really poor, so no surpises from these two. It was a bit of a strange race in general though, as Herklotz also wasn't at his best.
Anyway, as always thanks a lot Shonak!

WISH Siskevicius had done better in the first two stages so he could have done GC. I love the U25 1-2 from the Panama Paperboys and the stage win for Preciado!

Preciado Jacobsen
I have a spoiler for you: Stage 1 & 2 of a sample Volta a Portugal. Testing a new style of reporting, and would like to get some feedback on whether this is appreciated or not.

5th is still very good, but I'm especially happy about our Dev Team finaly doing something right.
Working on a TDF preview myself, so don't worry Bikex, it's the only July race that matters
(Stage 12 seems to be posted double in the profiles, didn't notice it before but that's one sprinter stage less apparently)
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Relegation danger? Far behind us. EBH is having a killer season, which does make it a lot easier though
Cannot wait for next season in which Kovacic, Simek, Budyak and Sklar should all be quite a bit stronger than they are now

Petr Vakoc killing it in Circuit des Ardennes, a very suffered victory. Martin wasn't up there but played a big part in the TTT. The good results continue

Puccio had a good finish to Circuit des Ardennes, 3rd in gc is definitely satisfying. Unfortunately Aregger, Dillier and Koch were asleep during the last stage, so they all lost a good amount of places there. Another win for Yellow Jersey, congrats!
Meanwhile the rankings update actually looks great.
Thanks for that and of course also the reports Bikex! |
