Could Froome be faking weakness today? Could be a possibility. |

I think 37th quickest time for Quintana and Purito (maybe a second or 2 slower for him?). |

In short, no. He wouldn't have panicked and asked for energy gels just a few kms from the finish if he was faking it. He was having an energy crisis. |

Highly unlikely. If we go down that way things just get too conspiratorial. He forgot to eat and suffered because of it.

He bonked, but didn't lose minutes like any normal rider would have.

Would not suprise me that this was planned from sky, make froome look human after dropping contador, he increases the lead and is in no danger....
On the other hand, great victory by riblon, felt sorry for tvg

So Quintana within 20 seconds of Contador now?
Yep, and a couple of seconds ahead of Kreuziger
1 C. Froome Team Sky 71:02:19
2 A. Contador Saxo-Tinkoff +5:11
3 N. Quintana Movistar +5:32
4 R. Kreuziger Saxo-Tinkoff +5:44
5 Joa. Rodríguez Katyusha +5:58
Yep, 12sec ahead of Kreuziger and just 11sec behind Contador.
So after tomorrow it will probably be
Froome
Quintana
Rodgriguez
Contador
Kreuziger |

That was an awesome stage!
Just had everything for me.
Decent breakaway with mix of talented young riders and old hands (literally youngest and oldest).
Crazy team tactics - did Oleg do team talk?
Leaders team put under pressure and Froome cracks just slightly - some 'fuel' for the Sky lynch mob with an illegal feed.
Brave French winner, TvG deserves huge credit as well. Nice day for Moser, he is young too.
Quintana climbing beautifully.
Loved it.

News out here is, officials are giving 5min penalty for Froome for eating in last 20kms plus fine. |
