Well f*ck Sutty... can i give twelve points to two Nations and just skip any others?
Also i listened to all the entries earlier, as expected there's a lot of dance-pop style songs some of which sound incredibly alike. Also a couple were really really good i wasn't expecting to be...
I'd love to have a themed DSC in the future, like where all the songs must be from a certain decade! Would be epic (and less dance-pop).
Argentina's song will be Stay Alive from Jose Gonzales, I am full mobile today, if someone can link the youtube video below this post.

The wait is over, it is almost time to fight for the DSC crown. However, firstly we must reveal the running order of both semi-finals. The semi-final allocation was drawn randomly. The running order on the other hand was formulated by the home broadcaster SNTV.
With just 1 day to go until the DSC festival opens, tonight called for the final dress rehearsal of semi-final 1. All 15 acts took to the stage and strutted their stuff. Who is on top, and who is on bottom now?
О, дай ми любовта!
Before we got to any competitors, it was K'NAAN who graced the stage, performing his first DSC song, Fatima. He was accompanied on stage by over 50 school children from Mogadishu. This really puts a smile on your face and it sets the scene for what was a stunning show. The opening performer was one of the bookies' favourites, Bulgaria, who were represented by Poli Genova and her song If Love Was A Crime. This was the perfect opener and it was the only part of the show where the huge Benadir Stadium got on their feet. Poli performed and the song lifted by the last chorus when the backing singers came onto the stage and danced the night away! From the first note to the last this song gets you smiling.
Another highlight for the DSC.tv team was Sri Lanka's performance. M.I.A is alone and stage with a feast of colourful, playful designs on the LED screens. The crowd inside the stadium were seeming to get on her side as well. This could be a surprise qualifier, it really stands out in the recap.
After a 2nd place back in Helsinki, Norway are back with a vengeance! They have sent Kygo and Kodaline with the song 'Raging'. This songs has been hyped to the extreme before the contest and some say it could win. This hype did translate on stage tonight. Irishman, Steve Garrigan, sits by the fire to start with the song before moving over to centre stage for the chorus, surrounded by different landscapes in time lapse before the chorus when the pyrotechnics come into picture. Steve works the camera like no other and the audience were belting the song out with him.
The last shot of Asbjørn's performance
When we all thought the show was over at Estonia, we then met Asbjørn from Denmark. His song 'Skywalker' is a contemporary dance song which builds and builds throughout the song before the dance breakdown ending. He starts the performance laying down on the floor. With clever uses of camera angles this song tells a story with these 'dementors' appearing around him as he walks through the woods to an open clearing, leaving us with a closing shot that is picture perfect! This song is a fitting ending to a fantastic show and this could do well in the results.
After the show we asked a sample of 1,000 who their favourites were:
do we only vote in the semi we are in, only the one we are not in or both?
Last time I watched Eurovision it was only those in that semi could vote but it was a while ago so might have changed and I couldn't see anywhere if we were copying that or not.

How does the voting work for the semi finals?

So we will use the regular system to vote, so 1-7pts, then 8, 10 & 12pts.
You can vote in both semi finals, preferrably in your own one at least. The top 8 countries will then make it through to the final.
Good evening Mogadishu! This is it, 15 performers have graced the stage tonight and now their fate is in your hands. You have the power to either send them through to the final or send them back home to their native country. For the first time in DSC history we will have 8 qualifiers who will make it to the final. The voting format will stay the same, so you will need to send your votes in with 1-7pts and 8, 10 and 12pts to your top 3. Here is the recap to help you decide...
Phone lines are now OPEN for the next 2 days, and they will close on Wednesday the 1st of May. You should send your votes in by PM'ing me with your list. You can vote in both semi-finals, and anyone is allowed to vote.
