Come on, it is obviously just because I have been advertising them so well 
No, for real: It is a good chance to get your squad filled without paying to much wage. Of course they won't do anything, but you know, guys for 80 wage usually won't do anything as well. So 50 wasted 50 wage is better than more wasted wage 
The only reason I had to sell them is that I took to much of them, so I didn't need them for squad-filling anymore. And because I have still some budget left, I'm also looking out for way better riders in round 3.1.

Made a small profit on Rebellin and am glad that I have one of more 'realistic' squads so far.
I will have quite a bit left to spend on talents and research. That whole area is a bit vague at the moment. For me, if you spend nothing or next to nothing on talents you shouldn't even have the option of signing them... |

Yeah, nice that you mentioned the talent focus and research thing.
@Bikex: It would be nice if we would know before round 3.1 some more about research and talents, like as how may profit you will have from that or how may money can be spent in which way, so that we can plan signing riders in a manner which leaves us with the right amount of budget left.

I waited with my calendar selections until I was certain I got Nibali, so I'm going to do it today. I suppose I'm not the only one who hasn't submitted it yet.

There has been a sheet where you have to choose which races you want, but there will be still time until you have to send that in. The whole calender is in Story Games -> ICL Calendar.
I think we should have time to this until all the transfers are done. Because maybe otherwise you get some leader in 3.3 or so and you have not the right races for him.

I think emre now somehow lacks a leader.. Unless you wanna Dani Moreno one though But you know, sometimes decent climbing depth can be worth more than that one final leader with rather weak support (fingers crossed that this won't happen to Froome...)
