EBH is riding for Sky. We can officially rule him out of winning this one.
And of course Stannard for that matter. Van Avermaet will take this IMO.

Things looking awfully good for Sky with Stannard upfront and Boasson Hagen not having to lead... They may turn into a very strong classics squad after all.

Stannard normally wouldn't beat Avermaet in a sprint, though. |

Makes me wonder why Sky doesn't tell Stannard to not work, you'd think they'd have a better chance with Hagen in front aswell? |

Van Avermaet has been taking lessons from Cadel Evans on how to pull a face.

Well, Hagen is the fastest of those 5 , theoretically.

Hagen would certainly be a better shot when it comes to a sprint. |

Yeah I was wondering that too. Depends on how EBH is feeling. He was attacking before but he is clearly strong today.

Stannard won
I'm not sure if to laugh at Van Avarmaet or not. |

This was the problem. Stannard took the lead with 1km to go and clearly the chase had slowed up to fight for 3rd. Van Avermaet should have just been able to ride Stannard's wheel into the final 200 metres then sprint past him. Dumb play by him that cost him a semi-classic.
