Holy moly, stage win for Ruben is already a sweet result for Fuji but Navarro coming 7th and winning the U25 is above any reasonable expectation. Grande Rodrigo. Perhaps it is time to invest in his potential a bit in off-season.

Tour de Berlin wrapped up. Unfortunately some export fail on stage 3 so those stage results are just very rudimentary.

Good point on the prologue training, I was anyways planning to change some stuff about the development options.
I know. Its still far from over and as the AI doesnt know to fight for minor places there is a huge random factor in the team ranking points.

Finally after the disaster that was the end of Berlin in our first year (our lead out beat our sprinter so he didn't quite get enough bonuses to win GC) a fantastic win for De Grootte! Astier in fifth is nice. Less said about Fuji the better.

11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

The triple header is always one of the highlights of the season. Almost any top rider is in action in one of the three races, except if they are riding for CarbonSports. It gets evident how much depth the World Tour teams have.
It is interesting to see who scored how much and which team is the winner of the triple header:

I know this is a dig at the team rankings scoring system, but you really cannot say it is a huge random factor. Not more random than anything else in PCM. Looking at the ranking the teams are on top, that you would expect there. In the end there might be some weird results, but over 20 World Cup races the randomness is almost neglectible, imo. |

Wow Fernandez and Navarro making us 2nd best team in Japan is unreal. Kudos to those two. Happy to be the best team out of the triple header. That's for sure a first for us.
Can't wait to see the rankings.Sevilla and Santos with big points. Who knows how save Alitalia and SAP are.

A breakaway rider stopping Pelucchi from winning a stage in Suisse...
Anyway, 2 second places for Pelucchi are what i was expecting when sending no climbers and the "full" flat squad to this race. Now hope for breakaways in the mountain stages

the triple header was pure pain...Quintana hurt and approximately around 350 points lost there
Buchko doing decent.

6th in the triple header, that shows how much we've grown as a team.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Well done in Guatemala, Cool Runnings!
I'd cheer for the unmanaged Jeep Team and Evan Huffman in Switzerland, still 2nd, but he won't survive the next stages. The GC certainly isn't decided yet, should be exciting.

That feeling when you're the 4th best scoring team in a WT race as a lowly one-dimensional one-rider CT Team

Wow, Rivera is becoming one of my favourite riders here. Our 2nd win this year! Suisse might be a very good race for us.
And Fuji. Well, that was more than I expected. Poljański 5th on a stage, Anacona 16th in GC (after losing time on last stage; I see a similarity here). Let's see how it will go later on.
Thanks all for the fantastic work you always do! |

Very interesting stuff there Bikex! A triple header is always pretty cool, as the nature of it allows certain riders, who would maybe normally struggle to score massively, to deliver some good results.
The start to our last home race of the season was pretty good with Caruso just about managing to avoid losing time in the mountain stage. Hopefully he'll actually be able to ride aggressively in the last few decisive stages and try to attack Costa. Podium is still the goal though.
