He shoud get more of a free role at Orica, at least they are moving in the right direction and if he keeps improving then he could prove quite a canny signing. I think they are waiting for Porte to come out of contract but I doubt they will be able to afford him and match the "marginal gains" program he is on

Porte signed extension to his contract this year for 2 more years, so that's going be a long wait. They should rather focus on someone else.

Who has actually allready left Vacansoleil-DCM yet?
As far as I know only Boeckmans and Westra have a contract for another team and the Van Poppels are close to signing Trek. De Gendt said that he wants to stay, even the team gets ProContinental, but it's not even sure if they will keep existing at all.
I wouldn't want to be a VCD-rider at this moment, expect a lot from their riders who are looking for a contract with another team. |
