HTC headed to China with no real GC contender. Danny Pate lead the team, targeting the KoM jersey. That did not work out, however, as he could only manage 4th in the KoM classification. Matt Goss continued his disappointing season, with his best place finish coming on stage 5, where he finished 11th.

The final HTC race of a long season came in a wet and cold Italy. Peter Velits and Marco Pinotti split the leadership role, finishing in a large group 17th and 25th respectively.

too bad tony didn't repeat his victory in china. But the season was alreay very good for HTC

@PCM: I decided not to send Martin to China. He had had a long season, so he technically ended his season at the World Champs
@Ian & Sutty: Season over. Onto next season, with new signings, a new kit (thanks to miggi) and new challenges

@Neilster: No I am not doing it as per real life. There are two reasons for it really. 1: I want to build a team that HTC could have aimed for if they were still in existance, and 2: I am not a Sky fan. Never have been. I only supported 3 of their riders last season (Cav, Wiggo and Thomas).
