Gidich not getting a single bonus second as the on paper by far best puncheur here is quite disappointing. At least he should be one of the better timetrialists in the first group so there's some hope and Mano is also in a good position for a good GC |

Promising signs for VNiekerk for the races where he can actually score. How Bjerg lost so little time surprises me but is also a good sign for other races.

Absolutely unimaginable what this game is doing to SKjelmose. 12 minutes????? 154th place??????? WTF???? How is that even possible????
Are you sure crashes are off? That's a genuine question. I have no idea how even multiple punctures and a -2 for everyone on my team could lead to such a result. It's preposterous. He has 77 medium mountain and is finishing behind guys 20 points lower. Now every single one of my riders will finish out the top 150 on GC. Absolutely unreal result. I've never seen anything like it. He's clearly thought of as a leader since the whole team dropped back for him, but then THAT happens?
Quite the shock to see at the end of the report with no mention of him struggling at all. I know he's not a top favorite, but that was really crazy.
RIP Exxon Duke, David Veilleux, Double Feature, and Monster Energy

Well, seems like Pidcock heard my moaning Much better choice of moment to attack from him, and gets a pretty cool stage victory and a day in yellow. Going to be a tough one to hang onto a worthwhile GC result given the recurring absolute lack of meaningful gaps, but he's pulled out good TTs before. Also shoutout Frankovic for his breakaway work, could be our first KoM win since 2021 I believe.
Sympathies to those who did lose time and Carlsberg in particular, that just shouldn't happen.

Yeah the Skjelmose situation is bizarre. Kinoshita losing 4 minutes on two straight stages also seems weird!
For Skjelmose I was considering if they Saw your sprinter as the leader, like my team did in Tasmania for some weird reason. But your sprinter wasn’t even in a solid GC spot, so can’t be that either.

Rough tt result by Plapp so I'm just focussing on Holowesko who did really nicely today and sits a lot higher than i would have expected
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

Just 40 seconds' gap from 7th to 1st is tempting to roll the dice to shoot for the GC lead, although if the actual hard stages don't get gaps then I expect this next one to be a total bunch sprint. If it is then hopefully Pidcock actually sprints and can maybe grab some bonifications to climb a little bit.

My TT'ers performed much like the preview indicated here, which is nice given how the race have played out so far.
Ideally we would have seen some of the pure TT'ers lose more time than Kiriakidis and Ioannidis would, which could have seen an outside shot for a top 5, but we'll have to hope for / rely on a whole lot of nothing in that final stage, to give is a solid GC result. It is much needed to keep our tripple header afloat. We expected quite a lot more from the stage results having both Farantakis and Kinoshita here. We didn't expect top 10 in GC however, so if we can have two guys around that level it would be very nice.
Karatsivis unfortunately a much too weak timetriallist to fight for a reasonable U25 result here. From 1st to 8th on the TT is a bit much. Would have hoped for him to stay around 5th and get a few extra points. Let's see if he and Kinoshita can do some shinanigans on the final stage to secure a few points. The most important part is obviously to get the amount of gaps to a bare minimum!

Wasn't expecting a rather short flat TT to create these types of gaps. But now I'm glad I brought Goldstein here and not in Tirreno.
Remco massively improving his GC position to 4th when even a top 10 I thought was lost is a great result. I guess we won't see any gaps gomorrow, but maybe Remco cand snatch a few bonus seconds to get on the overall podium.

Zmorka beat Dunbar in Tasmania when he was a long way behind but now doesn't when he's s.t
Thats how the cookie crumbles I guess. Can't complain with the current situation though. No slip-ups hopefully on the last stage for us!
Congrats to Eden and thanks for the report!

Bjerg with a very good result to likely secure a GC top 5. Dressler has flown under my radar so far but what a race for the youngster, and we are leading the teams classification. Now I'm sad it's just a wildcard.

Aleotti and/or Malecki needs a very good final stage to change this tour to from "disappointing" to "ok".

Fourth from Remco is great, but we did have a goal of top 3 so missing out on that only by 3 seconds sucks. Goldstein in 11th and another white jersey for Remco's collection kind of make up for that though.
Congrats to Eden for the overall win and thanks for the reports!

This is a bad result for us. Definitely thought Plapp was primed for a top 5 result. In hindsight, without any gaps on the hilly stages, Herregodts would have been the better option for us. First planning mistake.
Holowesko finishing 18th is at least a bit of a nice surprise adding a few additional points to compensate for the GC desaster.
Congrats to Indosat for an expected GC victory and also to abhi for an unexpectedly great result!

The perfect uneventful final stage we needed. Two riders in top 10 is great for us! Also great to see our former rider Matsangos doing well here to take 5th. A bit random though!
Karatsivis managed to sneak up some KOM points during the stage without a mention, to leverage to 4th KOM aswell as 27th GC and 8th U25 making this his best ever race!
Neither Farantakis not Kinoshita came away with anything useful, but somehow it worked out well enough for us anyway. Much needed too as Tirreno doesn’t look very good for us.

Absolutely horrible race for us, triple clash yes but not enough of an excuse. Congrats Dunbar (can't seem to avoid this guy) and thanks for the reports!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

This turned into a much better race than I could've hoped for! 2nd and Top 20 in the GC, with a stage win and placing in every classification. We'll probably end up with this being the best of our triple clash races the way Tirreno is going at the moment. Can't complain at all, we'll take them however it comes.
Congrats to Eden and thanks for the reports kb
