Despite a nothing race from Paez & Hofstetter, we happily come away from this one with a stage win and a KOM win. What a great start to the Zara career for De La Cruz Chapulin
Thank you for the reports roturn and congrats to the Aussies getting the win at home!

Congrats to Amaysim for bringing that one over the line! Winning the home race with a home rider is fantastic, well done
And congrats to Assa Abloy on the stage win, Coutinho again shows that he can do wonders from time to time
I guess it's too early to really draw some conclusions, but it looks like the sprints are pretty much as random as ever before, with almost everyone missing out in at least one stage. But Eislers, Zabel and Vesely taking Top 3 in points standings definitely doesn't feel wrong

That's how you start your season in style! (Let's just ignore that we already raced the DUC)
Obviously that's what I had hoped for and it's always great when plans go well. McCarthy delivered with a stage and the GC win, couldn't expect much more. Storer throwing away the GC and U25 classification hurts though, but it ain't a day to complain, I guess. There won't be too many hilly stage races, that will suit McCarthy that well, so that's key points already.
Thanks for the yearly TdU coverage, roturn, and thanks for the congratulations, guys!

Well that was a way to conclude our start to the season. The game reading Meurisse as a lead out instead of actually using him on the two stages he should be used is just cream of the crop. At least we scored a few points. We have a bit of break in racing now until the cobbles season starts hopefully Daniel won't let me down.

Bad time for usm at least we scored some points, but not an encouraging performance from Errazkin.

Sucks to lose two spots on Stage 5 but 4th is still much better than we were expecting here. Great job by Benoot first up!
Nice of Minali to show up on the last stage. 5th is a good stage result for him in a sprint field like this. Hopefully he can keep chipping away at the points like this all season.
Congrats to tsmoha and thanks for the reports roturn

Congrats to tsmoha! Winning your home race with your newly train national leader has to be a good feeling!
Decent finish for us. AKA definitely went too early. Unfortunate as he was in a really good spot and might have won if he held off another couple undred meters. Honestly, it was impressive - and probably a testament to his resistance (see Howard) - that he didn't crack completely despite going from a kilometer out. So, 4th is a solid result. Would have been better if he stayed in front on stage 2 and was in the points fight, but he didn't completely waste race days here in a stacked field.
Overall, Jensen did fine too. One of two riders to stay in the front group every stage but get zero time bonuses throughout. 9th on GC is a bit below where we hoped, but I can't argue with most of the guys that finished ahead. It was a stacked race and we all did the best we could. Where we lose more points anyway is in our lack of depth scoring, but on hills that's just a flaw of my team construction. No bad luck involved.
Thanks for the reports roturn!

Bad final stage for Vesely but overall quite decent. Got some GC points in the end as well. Tikhonin with a dream race, great points for a lvl 3 loanee!
Thanks for the reports roturn and congrats tsmoha!

A very, very decent start to the season and great to cap it off with a stage win! Strong finish from Coutinho, considering his positioning wasn’t great going into the final kilometer.
Gesbert with a solid GC performance and nice to see Veyhe fight for the KoMs and even grabbing the jersey for a few days.
Thanks for the reports and congrats to tsmoha on the home win!

Well, at least I knew from way out Houle wasn't winning rather than being excited then dissapointed in the sprint 2nd on GC obviously still a good to great result so I'm happy. And also nobody you'd rather lose it to than the home rider for the home team, congrats tsmoha, know your team has had moments in the biggest races but surely a treasured win in your team history now
Also shoutout to Trans with that depth GC, making the three puncheurs work well here!
Thanks for the reports roturn, love the quality as always from you and impressive pace we are on at the moment

I know it’s a bit dramatic to be talking about relegation after only one race, but this was such an important race for us with Borges and Howard. With our calendar Borges doesn’t have a lot of opportunities, so for ai reasons what should have basically been a guaranteed podium for him turns into a GC outside of the top-10. The course is made for him, he always performs well here. Disgraceful. Howard not bothering to sprint either is just icing on the cake. Like the three GC stages are tailor made for Borges and he can’t even stay in the front group or sprint for a result. It’s awful.
Congrats tsmoha, McCarthy ROI working as intended.
Thanks for the reports roturn, much appreciated.

This race was a bit of a positive surprise for my team. I didn't expect to be Calmejane so high and good between sprinter and finish on a flat stage on 7th place (2nd stage). All three leaders were deffenetly very consisntence and finishing in first group or with main contenders for GC in first group. AT least we got one goal to have on rider in Top 10.
6. Sven Erik Bystrom, 7. Zico Waeytens and on 8th place Lilian Calmejane is defenetly much better compare what we hoped.
Thanks for the reports Roturn and gongrats to the wiinners

Decent result for Kraftwerk. 15th, 17th and 21st in GC, 2nd in points and 3rd in KOM.
5th in Teams might have been better, only 14 seconds behind 2nd, but Trans had a great race to win Teams.
Thanks for the reports roturn and congrats to tsmoha for the win.

Always lovely to see that my top sprinter, one of the best in the race and division, who I only kept for game playing reasons despite an enormous wage increase has decided not to sprint at all on any of the stages he should have.
Thanks Roturn for the reports

An underwhelming race for us. I wasn't expecting to light the board here, but our performances were awful. Hopefully that changes in the future otherwise we're in for a looooong and painful season.
Congratulations to Amaysim Cervelo and thank you very much for the reports!
