First we'll have a look at the planning of Ruben and Wilco, our number two and three record signings in the short history of the team. Zepuntke will not even have half of his racedays filled to give the rest of a division a chance to win some stuff as well, whereas Kelderman will be sent to a GT to have some fun.

I hope that Zepuntke will have enough support with only Ulloa in leadout or help across the cobbled races. I hope my leader Vanbilsen and Vanspeybrouck can keep up with him an the rest of the leaders on 4 races as they will be on the same races

The two guys that finished in the PCT top-5 last season will try to become top-5 riders in their discipline in PT this year. Not that easy, looking at the sprint quality and time trial training in the division. But if there's anything Manninen and Zmorka like, it's a good challenge. Sütterlin will mostly have the same schedule as the Ukrainian, with the most important difference being him riding the Tour de France, just like Manninen will do.
Matti Manninen Start | End | Race | Category | 17-Jan | 22-Jan | Tour of Qatar | PT | 28-Feb | | Milano - San Remo | PTM | 08-Mar | | Great Ocean Road Classic | PTHC | 13-Mar | 16-Mar | Praha - Karlovy Vary - Praha | PT | 20-Mar | 22-Mar | Ronde van Nederland | PT | 28-Apr | | Veenendaal - Veenendaal | PTHC | 10-May | | Rund um Köln | PT | 03-Jul | 23-Jul | Tour de France | PTM | 01-Aug | 05-Aug | Deutschland Tour | PTHC | 12-Sep | | GP Moscow | PT |
Marlen Zmorka Start | End | Race | Category | 09-Jan | 11-Jan | Tour of Tasmania | PT | 17-Jan | 22-Jan | Tour of Qatar | PT | 02-Feb | | Copenhagen - Malmo TTT | PT | 12-Feb | 18-Feb | Tirreno - Adriatico | PT | 22-Feb | 24-Feb | Tour of Ukraine | PTHC | 13-Mar | 16-Mar | Praha - Karlovy Vary - Praha | PT | 01-Apr | | Paris - Roubaix | PTM | 27-Jun | 29-Jun | Scandinavia Open Road Race | PT | 16-Jul | 19-Jul | Tour of Lithuania | PTHC | 25-Jul | 29-Jul | Tour of Slovenia | PTHC | | 01-Aug | 05-Aug | Deutschland Tour | PTHC | 08-Aug | 09-Aug | Chrono des Herbiers | PT |
Jasha Sütterlin Start | End | Race | Category | 09-Jan | 11-Jan | Tour of Tasmania | PT | 17-Jan | 22-Jan | Tour of Qatar | PT | 02-Feb | | Copenhagen - Malmo TTT | PT | 12-Feb | 18-Feb | Tirreno - Adriatico | PT | 22-Feb | 24-Feb | Tour of Ukraine | PTHC | 13-Mar | 16-Mar | Praha - Karlovy Vary - Praha | PT | 08-Jun | 14-Jun | Tour de Suisse | PTHC | 03-Jul | 23-Jul | Tour de France | PTM | 25-Jul | 29-Jul | Tour of Slovenia | PTHC | | 01-Aug | 05-Aug | Deutschland Tour | PTHC | 08-Aug | 09-Aug | Chrono des Herbiers | PT |

Like the look of Zmorka and Sutterlin's schedules. Hope they can do well for you. Interested to see how well Manninen makes the step up to PT. Hoping these guys make a big splash

Time for our final planning post. Munoz joined the team two years ago as a lvl 3 and was loaned out to cycleYorkshire, where he rode his first GT. He gets the chance to try and win a stage in a Grand Tour as well this year, as he will be our mountain man at all three of them. Keizer on the other hand will have a more diversified planning, where we aim at maximizing his hybrid skillset.
Daniel Munoz Start | End | Race | Category | 03-Apr | 23-Apr | Giro d'Italia | PTM | 11-May | 31-May | Vuelta a Espana | PTM | 03-Jul | 23-Jul | Tour de France | PTM |
Martijn Keizer Start | End | Race | Category | 09-Jan | 11-Jan | Tour of Tasmania | PT | 02-Feb | | Copenhagen - Malmo TTT | PT | 12-Feb | 18-Feb | Tirreno - Adriatico | PT | 22-Feb | 24-Feb | Tour of Ukraine | PTHC | 13-Mar | 16-Mar | Praha - Karlovy Vary - Praha | PT | 20-Apr | | GP Liechtenstein | PT | 08-Jun | 14-Jun | Tour de Suisse | PTHC | 27-Jun | 29-Jun | Scandinavia Open Road Race | PT | 16-Jul | 19-Jul | Tour of Lithuania | PTHC | 25-Jul | 29-Jul | Tour of Slovenia | PTHC | | 01-Aug | 05-Aug | Deutschland Tour | PTHC | 08-Aug | 09-Aug | Chrono des Herbiers | PT | 18-Oct | | Giro di Lombardia | PTM |

Well, I'm not looking forward to Slovenie anymore to say the least, but I'm glad Kamna will be avoiding your triumvirate elsewhere!

Don't know how I missed the earlier Kelderman update Think he's more suited to PT races and should do much better for you in those races. Not sure about PTHC though!
That Munoz plan is pure Gold

@bbl: I actually think there is a decent chance of Kämna finishing higher than Keizer in Slovenia
@Abhi: Let's hope he does better in PT But If he doesn't, he should have a nice season for us in PCT next year in his last maxed season. We'll see whether the Munoz plan is actually worth it points-wise I guess, but I would love to see him snatch a GT stage win somewhere.
Race Preview - Tour of Tasmania (PT) The PT season is close to its start, and the first obstacle will be the Tour of Tasmania. In a short but sweet race a versatile GC rider should be able to bring the win home. With Keizer we definitely bring a versatile rider, who is hopefully capable of a top-10 and a nice start of the PT campaign for Los Pollos Hermanos. We don't bring any sprinters for the first stage, so in an ideal world a guy like Ulloa can join the breakaway there. For stage three, the time trial, we hope to score with Zmorka and/or Sütterlin.

Race Review - Tour of Tasmania (PT) Oh boy. Our first race in the highest division definitely didn't go as smooth as we hoped for. A top-10 GC for Keizer was our hope, a 37th place in GC the final verdict. With a 15th and 17th place in the time trial, Zmorka and Sütterlin also performed (far) below expectations.
Bad performance, nice jersey
Race Preview - Tour of Qatar (PT) It's Manninen time! He will battle against the creme de la creme of the ProTour sprinters in Qatar, with Ruiz as his lead-out. First race for the Fin without Los Pollos legend Alain Quispe, he will never be forgotten. A top-10 in the GC should be a realistic goal, but after the disappointing performance from the team in Australia, we will even try to finish inside the top-5. In case Zmorka and Sütterlin want to redeem themselves a bit, they have the opportunity to do so in the epilogue and give us some depth scoring with a solid stage result and GC.

Race Review - Tour of Qatar (PT) Guess who's back, back again? Matti's back, tell a friend. Our flying Finn started the season like he did last season as well: two stage wins in a six-day stage race. He immediately beat the best sprinters in the world in the first stage, finished seventh twice in the next sprints, followed by a decent second place on stage four, and then back to his winning ways on stage 5. He had built a nice cushion for the short epilogue, and with a nice performance he was able to take the GC win home. Manninen thus starts his season in an amazing manner, and makes sure the Los Pollos fans can still dream of staying in the PT for another season.
On the other hand we have Zmorka and Sütterlin who both have had a terrible start of the season, with close to zero points out of nine race days, including two time trials. They will need to perform better in order to keep our survival dream alive.

Race Preview - Copenhagen - Malmö TTT (PT) Time to cross the bridge. We don't have great TTT depth, but we do bring the likes of Zmorka, Sütterlin, Keizer and Sterbini. Time for them to make up for a very weak start of the season, maybe with a top-10? Shout-out to the other four riders there as well:
Osorio, Lopez Nolasco, Nareklishvili and Wibisono.

Somehow Maninnen is doing even more for Los Pollos than he did for Atlantius, just crazy. If he keeps this up, you should be very safe!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Wow, stunning stuff from Manninen and what a way to start off your time in the PT (we'll just forget Tassie as I'm sure you'd like to )

Hope Matti can keep these kinds of results up, he’s had a ridiculous last three seasons. Hopefully the TT cohort can snag some points in Scandinavia - I hope Wibisono can do his part

@Ollfardh, Abhi, jandal and Eden: Manninen is indeed amazing for us in the 2022 season so far, just like he was for most of the 2021 PCT season. If he performs like this in every race, we might even have a shot of staying up And yes jandal, let's forget about Tasmania
I think it is exactly two years ago that we were in the 2020 transfer season. Although every time it turns out to be a very interesting +- two weeks, you can never forget about your first time. Something I definitely did not imagine was being a top-3 PT team only two years later (if ever), but here we are. Even though the team was absent in Tasmania, an amazing Manninen show in Qatar sees your favourite (and only) Mexican team only being beaten by two of MG's all time greats in Isostar and ELCO - ABEA.
In a couple of minutes/hours, when Copenhagen is done, we'll obviously virtually be closer to the relegation zone already. Nevertheless, the few moments up here will forever be remembered. For a little while, we are not focussing on our survival hunt itself and whether guys like Zmorka and Keizer will actually decide to turn up, but just enjoying Manninen's Qatarese greatness.
That greatness lead to the Finn leading the individual rankings, with the rest of the team... a bit further behind. It's simply classic Los Pollos Hermanos to have a loaned-in level 1 rider as second best scorer with the incredible amount of 18 points. Depth has never been our thing, so why should it be all of a sudden?

Race Preview - Classique du Grand Duché (PT) First opportunity for Kelderman to shine, in one of the 'easier' startlists of the year thanks to the triple header. Cult legend
Zepuntke starts his season here as well, as he might take the win himself on a good day.
Race Preview - Tirreno - Adriatico (PT) Quite some leaders of us going to this race, which has a rather strong startlist. Keizer and Zmorka hopefully with their first good result of the season.
Race Preview - Paris - Nice (PT) We send a rather weak stage-hunting team to France. Sprinter
Abdul Halil hopes to score some points, whereas it will be
Turner's only race of the season.

Race Review - Copenhagen - Malmö TTT (PT) We went to Scandinavia hoping for a top-10, but once again our time trialists simply didn't deliver. Zmorka and company only managed to finish sixteenth.
jersey still lit though
Race Review - Classique du Grand Duché (PT) In Luxembourg we could even hope for a top-5. The team worked very hard all day with impressive labour by Nareklishvili and Ruiz. Doesn't matter how strong the team is though, when your leader has an offday it's all for nothing. Kelderman started the season in the worst possible way by only finishing fifteenth, after not being able to follow any attack all day long. At least it's one position better than in Copenhagen. This was supposed to be our best race of the PT triple header, so things are not looking too good now.
