Indeed. Only the lack of attacks in Norway and Koretzkys energy burning out in Liege-Bastogne-Liege could have played out better.
I'm interested in seing how much/little I claw back from you. I Suspect it will be less than 1000 points, but it could be enough for it to (on paper atleast) become close for a brief period of time

I'm curious about that too since i havent done any of the maths. Before the month i had hopes that we can keep the losses to a minimum since on paper my lineups everywhere looked rather good but while we had some races where we delivered, we also had some big disappointments. In total, we lost more than i would have liked and the ranking situation will be closer than i would have predicted before the month.
I'm very curious to see the next ranking update to see how much of the gap is left to you and also the other top teams that still have some stage race leader RDs left (Gazelle, Puma, Isostar) |

Indeed. I am looking towards that too... To keep the likes of Puma and Gazelle astray I need a big margin, and then hopefully for the Tour to spread out the points across many different riders rather than a big GT for either. Gazelle already have a GT "win" (pointwise), so if Madrazo also claims 1300-1600 points in the Tour they could become very dangerous yet again.
Isostar is planning a bit different than I would have expected so they too are very interesting to follow. If Phinney is planned well, they could score very big, seeing as they tend to do really well in the GT's regarding breaks.

I hope I can someday replicate the journey of Lecuisinier with one of my own riders 
Still plenty races left and the potential to score some big points, especially with Coquard. Should be a good season for you by the end

Who knows - in the future I guess much will come down to how the different managers train their riders, as there will be a lot of riders just below the top level tiers.
Indeed - On paper we could score a decent amount of overall points, but next month is one of those were all 3 races combined could end up giving us 100 points rather than 100 points pr. race

May saw us clear the 2.000 point for the month-mark, which nearly doubled our season total. June definately won't be a repeat with just 3 races. But what can we actually manage in a month that doesn't suit us very well - On paper atleast.

Leading the way for one last time this season is Francesco Bongiorno. On paper he is always a contender for a top 10-15 GC spot, and then it all comes down to just how many top riders will be present to surpass him. We have struggled to feat in the breakaways all season, but with Giannoutsos, Mavrikakis, Miltiadis, Zoidl, Osorio and van Niekerk here with no top GC rider and only Bouglas as sprinter we HAVE to play it aggressive from the gun. Whether or not our riders are strong enough to make a lot from it, is always up in the air.
Realistically we expect a GC result and some breakaway points, but whether that is a stagewin a top 3 KOM or an 8th place is really difficult. We don't expect this race to throw many points at us however!

Just like in Switzerland we come with a team heavily dependant on breakaway succes. That much is always a gamble, but with Boily, Barta, Budyak, Ioannidis, Kastrantas and Kiriakidis I see no reason as to why we shouldn't be very active. Vlatos is here hoping that he can finally get his TT season going and with 2 tries it could be. The amount of TT depth could be spread out across both races with some going for GC domestique glory in Switzerland. Farantakis is here with the aim for him to either join breaks or sprint for minor positions if the field is very weak.
On paper this could be our worst race of the season, which isn't very fulfilling. We hope to see a rider such as William Barta to overperform and maybe charge for a good U25 result. But overall this could be a very bad race.

Cobbled races is usually the time where we sit back and let things happen. Karatzios have been performing quite well, but even when that is we still hardly ever get any points from the cobbles. Earlier this season a similar race (E3 Prijs) formed, and there we landed 20 points. Can we secure something similar I guess we are happy with that.
Expected points: 0-40pts
Overall expectations:
As the above indicates, we are having a very weak month. None of our 3 big leaders are riding, and neither is Nizzolo from the second rank "favorites". Boily is out of his best territory in a race that really doesn't suit him, so all we have left is Bongiorno and Vlatos - neither have found their way at all this season. We could end up with a month giving minimum points - but let's see how it ends up. We atleast hope to be active in the breaks for once!

A very weak month has come to an end - Just 3 races, all of which in a caliber of barely any points to be expected. Let's see what happened though!
Tour of Switzerland:

The Swiss race have been a Festina-favorite for many seasons, and while this season was with a relatively uninteresting setup, we still brought plenty of decent riders. And exactly that paid off big time. Georgios Bouglas landed 3rd twice, and while Bongiorno wasn't super strong a lot of points came across as Giannoutsos and van Niekerk made double-trouble on stage 3 taking a superior 1-2 along with a good KOM and U25 position.
In the end Bongiorno also supplemented decently with a 15th spot in the GC to make this a very good race for us. Significantly better than the 75-125 points expected.

Everything the Tour de Suisse was, Criterium du Dauphiné wasn't! We came with low ambitions, but even so we would have expected to see some action from our puncheurs. In the end Vlatos landed a stage podium, but that was about it.
David Boily came away with slim to nothing from a 19th GC without ever trying to get a stage result. Overall the points harvest was very low - but not lower than we expected. Still we would have atleast liked to see our riders give it an honest try.

In the final cobbled one day race of the year (for us) Karatzios was yet again the leader of our team. And seeing him join a fairly early breakaway kept the race very interesting for us throughout. Even more so, when the break seemed to stick. Unfortunately Karatzios isn't the fastest rider and thus had to settle for 10th.
In the situation we found ourselves in, 10th is slightly dissapointing, but prior to the race we would have loved that result!
Overall points: 37 pts
A bad month was salvaged pretty well from some aggressive riding in Gabon and Switzerland, and defended to an acceptable level in France. Unfortunately the points harvest isn't enough to neither overtake Evonik nor fend off Isostar, so we will see a drop in PT position from 2nd (in reality 1st) to 3rd - maybe even 4th (we haven't calculated that yet). 463 points is aproximately 200 points higher than we expected though, so we are very happy! Next month unfortunately doesn't seem good either, so we will have to see how well we can defend ourselves yet again!

We came out of June much better than anticipated despite of a couple of weak lineups. In July things could be more of the low-end scoring with just two races. Our big salvation could come from our greek TT Champion Panagiotis Vlatos though as those two races are sesaon highlights potentially.
Tour de France:

The race barely started before we could cheer massively. Panagiotis Vlatos showcased his greek TT jersey in the finest output, as he took home the early stagewin, and thus swapping out his jersey for the yellow leaders jersey. A monumental victory for the ever present greek. Also momentarily leading the points classification.
The first couple of stages also saw Nizzolo mingling in the sprints, and thus kept on scoring a little bit here and there. But on stage 5 we had another great highlight as Kastrantas joined to breakaway to collect enough KOM points to take the mouintains jersey. After 5 stages we could thus declare that we have worn all 3 important jerseys with just the white not in touch. Nizzolo took his best result of the race in 5th on this stage too.
The next stage Kastrantas again joined the breakaway to collect further points. It would give him a total of 6 days in the polkadot jersey! Much like last season he knew when to attack for the KOM jerseys.
From here on the race went slow for a while, until Aidan van Niekerk decided to show up on stage 13. From a very strong group he was last man standing, but unfortunately the favorites didn't accept the stage to go to the break. Therefor it was even more impressive when Aidan used every inch of his fighting instinct to barely keeping the gap going to the line, claiming his first Tour de France stagewin, and his 2nd Grand Tour stage in a very young age.
Unfortunately stage 13 was also the last stage in which we really performed, as the race then jumped to being one for the GC riders, and strong climbers. Boily gave it his all, joining 3 breaks, but unfortunately positioned himself in the middle of nothing getting 3 times top 20, but no top 10. His efforts did however bring a little added bonus with him being 5th in the KOM competition. GC wise we were nowhere to be seen, and especially Barta was slightly dissapointing, not even competing for a top 10 in the U25 competition.
Overall points: 430pts
Chrono des Herbiers:

After showing his TT strenghts in the Tour de France Vlatos was back for more. He skipped the final stages of the Tour to be ready for this event, and he didn't dissapoint.
Taking 4th overall was a very nice result, despite rival Durbridge coming very close to overtaking him in the end. Riccardo Zoidl taking 27th was a nice little bonus aswell.
Overall points: 137 pts
We have to point in the direction of Panagiotis Vlatos for this month being a decent one, but we can also highlight the efforts of van Niekerk and Kastrantas who made the Tour very entertaining. Boily tried, but didn't quite make it. He'll have some catching up to do. Overall though, a month better than expected!

July was better than anticipated despite some rather weak lineups. August could be a decent month aswell with 4 races, where 3 of them suits our riders fairly well. Let's have a look.

For the first time since Badaling International we bring the combination of Clement Koretzky and David Boily. Back then Koretzky took 3rd. With riders like Boily, van Niekerk and Kastrantas he does have the needed assistance throughout the race to perform accordingly.

Karatzios will lead the way for the final time this season as we decided that his presence in TONE would potentially interfere with our chances to join breakaways. So here's one last salute. He has been fairly productive compared to our expectations, often somewhere around top 15. If we benchmark him around 20th and expect most of our riders to survive the race we could fend off most of our competitors to an acceptable level.
Expected points: 50-80pts
Overall expectations:
As 3 races will suit us, we have to expect a solid/good month with aproximately 80-100 points in average, where a good month will be in the upper end of the spectrum. If Coquard performs like a top top sprinter we could kick above the 500 point mark. Most realistic however is 400 points give or take.

A reasonable July, should hopefully be turned into a good August. Atleast we had every opportunity to do so with some strong races on paper.

On paper, a race that should suit us very well, and allow us to kick off the month with a good pointscoring.The race progressed much to our favor, and thus the inevideble sprint finish took place.
It was anyones guess towards the end, but Coquard could "only" manage 3rd, which amounted to a decent pointscoring without being overwhelming.

Having won the GP Moscow last season, we came with quite some expectations. Not particularly needing to win, but atleast get a result around the podium.
In the end Coquard was 7th, which wasn't a good result, but not a disaster either. In order to keep up the fight for a PT top 5, we need better though!

Clement Koretzky has had a great season so far, so we were quietly expecting him to fight for a result around 5th, knowing that it might be far fetched.
10th wasn't particularly impressive, yet good enough. Boily, Kastrantas, van Niekerk and Barta showed up to supplement with additional points, making the race a decent one.

As ever a cobbled race just need to be over with. Karatzios have had a fairly good run, so we anticipated a result close to the top 20. Seeing Karatzios in the break was good - but on the day, the wrong decision and it all amounted to nothing.
Overall points: 30 pts
Prior to the month we expected between 330-600 points, with 330 being slightly dissapointing and 600 being overwhelming, yet possible, so scoring 306 points was quite dissapointing despite of no races really being a major dissapointment. We just performed mediocre, and needed to perform a bit more atleast once.
We have to look forward and hope september will be better.

September 2020 expectations
After a slightly dissapointing August, we hope to better it in September. It might not be easy though with just 4 races, one being Tour of Northern Europe, where we don't exactly bring our A-Game. Some times, that doesn't hurt though!

We have sent a pretty potent team, but whether or not Koretzky and Boily can make it work together is a big questions mark. With 6 hilly stages and some semihard finishes in flat stages the combination of the two + Bouglas could give os a decent points harvest. We do however believe that two of the stages could be too difficult for Koretzky, and what Boily then decides to do is uncertain. If he plays it well, he should fight for a top 10, with us also being in the battle for a stagewin or atleast some decent results.

Well... We have tried all sorts of approaches in this race in years. But none have seemed as uninterested as this. We have brought Koretzky and Nizzolo as some sort of leaders in the hope for stage succes. I would expect Koretzky to be fairly aggressive due to early time loss, but you'll never know. We don't have any cobblers here, so GC is not going to happen.

Unfortunately Panagiotis Vlatos have been very unbalanced in his performances, so to see him stay with the peloton for 4 stages while performing according to his level in the timetrial, might be too much to ask. Yet we have to expect that, as on paper this is a marvelous chance for him to shine!
4 flat stages obviously calls for Coquard too, and with some solid sprint results, and a decent defense on the timetrial, he could end up with an OK (not good) GC too. We have to make this one work!

Overall expectations:
We will potentially have 3 solid races in this month, while Tour or Northern Europe definately won't be good. But let's see if we can perform a solid month, nontheless!
