Really defensive racing here, and pretty much the only rider who dared to attack was awarded greatly for it in the end. A superb race by Ponzi, while some other favorites should be somewhat disappointed with their performance.
Congrats Dev! |

Top performance by Bakelants, best of the rest. Too bad he didnt attack himself since I don't think he would have been beaten by Ponzi this easily. Too bad the race was so inactive and only one attack in the whole race was placed and successful.

Not the best race, congrats dev on Ponzi's win!
Kwiatek was a bit pitiful, perhaps his crash could've been blamed, kinda reminiscent of our whole season honeslty.
Thanks Aquarius!

Deserved gold for Ponzi, being the only one able and willing to attack. Congratulations, dev! A bit disappointing from the Norwegians and EBH, but in such a sprint for the medals, you'll always need some luck with positioning, but also the legs. Seemed like he had none.
And Beltran seems like he'll never be able to catch a break in the one day races
Thank you for all your work with the WC, Aquarius! Definitely not your fault that the racing were that passive from the favourites, eventhough it's kind of realistic in a World Championship, as no one wants to burn their matches too early. |

Boring race and deserved winner. Only one who dared
Congratulations to Dev, he will most likely celebrate it when he gets out of the army in a few days

Thanks for your job on all the WC reports, Aquarius! Epic stuff.
Bobridge disappointing as to be expected. The early crash might have cost some energy as well, but surely those long races don't suit him anyway. A perfect route design for Ponzi, so yeah, the result didn't really come as a surprise
