Sorry about the disappearance over the weekend, was caught up in some stuff. The entries for Paris-Nice are now closed. Luxemburger and Jandal's entries will be considered. And welcome trekbmc and Aquarius for your first appearances this season!
With these two latest additions, we have already crossed the number of participants that we had for the whole of last season! Thank you so much to everyone for your enthusiasm. We hope more people will keep joining and we can make this a regular feature of Daily
A reminder that the deadline for Tirreno-Adriatico is Midnight, 8th March GMT.
Points update for Strade Bianche coming up soon. And on behalf of everyone who picked Bardet for Paris-Nice (including me):

Podium
1) Michal Kwiatkowski (yes Raziz, he is a classics specialist )
2) Greg Van Avermaet
3) Tim Wellens
Not a single pick for surprise winner Kwiatkowski as most of our participants went for in-form Sagan and GVA. Sagan's early retirement meant disappointment for 5 of 11 participants. GVA, on the other hand, did not disappoint, picking up 2nd place and giving 10 points to four guessers. Wellens and Stybar were two more popular picks. While the former (picked by 5) ended on the bottom step of the podium, Stybar ended 4th, just missing out on points for his five pickers! The bonus question turned into a gimme, with everyone barring trekbmc (who thought a third type(!!) of rider will win) picking up 20 points.
Jandal's shrewd pick of both Wellens and GVA, gives him the extra five points that confirms victory in this race. In the end, a very closely fought points race here, with 3 members getting second with 30 points.
The updated points table now looks like this:
Name | Races Entered | Bonuses | Total Points | emre99 | 5 | 60 | 155 | Selwink | 5 | 60 | 145 | jandal7 | 5 | 80 | 145 | AbhishekLFC | 5 | 80 | 145 | Raziz | 5 | 40 | 130 | purepasd | 5 | 60 | 125 | Marcovdw | 5 | 40 | 110 | Croatia14 | 5 | 40 | 60 | Squire | 2 | 20 | 25 | Luxemburger | 1 | | 0 | trekbmc | 1 | | 0 |
It is extremely close at the top with Jandal joining AbhishekLFC and Selwink on 145 points. The former duo stayed tied together after this race too, having picked up an identical 30 points. The gap between leader Emre, still reaping the rewards of a perfect score at Omloop, and Marcovdw in 7th place, is a mere 45 points, something that can be wiped out with a single big score.

3rd option or position? By default, I'll take position, which means option b.

If everyone is fine with it, I'll increase the points for the bonus in Paris-Nice (i.e. Contador's finish position) to 30 points. I feel it was a much tougher bonus to get right than the others have been so far, and hence should be better rewarded, if correct. In case most of you oppose this, I'll go back to assigning 20 points to it. Feel free to comment and let us know.

Paris Nice results to be up tomorrow as I don't have access to the machine where I have my score sheet today. Henao and Bertie should bring in good points for those who picked them. Inspired change at the end there by Selwink
