Just spotted a minor mistake in the Calendar file. Nantou Classic is listed as a race in China. It is actually Taiwan.

Because goals determine your transfer budget.
And it adds an extra dimension to the transfer season that you have to make some sort of decision as to what kind of leader you want/think you can get.

Okay I see why. Still, I'd think it'd fit well to make goals during transfer season, too. Just like you only have to submit your calendar during the transfer season and not ahead of it.

As said above, the transfer budget for teams is quite highly based on what goals have been chosen. So therefore it would be impossible to do the goals anytime other than before transfers with the current budget system. Also it works really well right now so why change it

Yeah like I said, there's no problem. No need to change it.
In spoiler, though, some thoughts about this but once again: this is no major point or anything that has to change or any big criticism, just a thought.
Spoiler This just seems like the kind of rule that's always been around and has been around so long people don't even think about it anymore. There would be perfectly well-functioning other ways to determine budget so you could set goals later, during the transfer period.
Just strikes me as a litle bit odd that you set goals before knowing your squad. I see what it gives extra to the transfer period, though. But it still sounds strange  |

The alternative would be that you select the 14-23 value before transfers only, and fill in the races afterwards.
But I like the risk and tactical factor it brings in. You might not know what your team will look like, but having picked them you know who to aim for.
Goals could be too easy if done after transfers. And for anything really, it makes sense that Goals are picked at the start, not halfway through!
