Oh man I had dreamed that Van Der Poel was back in the cross and he had won the race with a minute ahead of Van Aert and a minute and a half ahead of the 3rd rider.
But now that I've woken up I realize it wasn't real
Or at least, not yet |

Cool at 15 GMT+1 time the Gavere cross. Rain has made it a real mud-cross.
Tune in and watch the race, it'll be worth it |

Wow Yserbit really impressing in the U23 race. Fantastic. Hope he takes a few more years at the U23 to develop and when he's fully grown, come and make Van Aert's life harder
Cant 4/4 in the Superprestige with the women. |

A good race, but Van Aert is a class above the rest.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

And Lars Boom is riding Heusden-Zolder in december. Not sure what else he'll ride though, at this point in the season most race organisers don't have the budget for such an unexpected addition.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

The suspense was absent in Quelneuc, where the 2nd round of the French CX Cup took place. Clément Venturini from Cofidis won 1 minute and a half ahead John Gadret and Ivan Gicquiau. I was there and took pictures of the Mens' U23 Race, Ladies' Race et Mens' Elite Race.

And Nys can still win, he beats Meeusen and Pauwels in an exciting race!

Oh and I couldn't see it
Great job Nys. Love that guy and so happy he's won at least a race in his last season.
He'll be very happy, too!
And now for tomororw. Van der Poel returns! Hooray great weekend all around. |

He was incredibly happy, he looked like a 20 something year old winning his first race
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Koksijde happening right now. Best cross of the season so far!
Early phase: back to a good nice duel between Van AErt and Van DEr Poel.
The World Champ not good enough yet (1st race of the season, duh) so now Nys vs Van Aert!
Love every aspect of it. Van Der Poel impressive. In a few weeks, we'll be back to Van Aert - Van Der Poel! |

I couldn't see that as I was in La Mezière for a "smaller" cyclo-cross. It was great to see, with Venturini, Mourey, Gadret and the two Vanthourenout. There was even Poulidor, Jalabert and Thevenet in the backstage Here are my photos taken in the U23 Race and in Elite Race.
