Ugh another very unsuccessful stage, I get that my guys won't be doing lots of GC winning, but I'd like a little more action in the breakaways. Or someone trying for a top 10 on a stage... right now we aren't even close.

I was hoping Bennett could at least stay with Kwiatkowski on the mountain stage, but he managed to be ahead if Berhane and VDB, which I really didn't expect. Daily form has quite a big impact in PCM14, I think. Really cool to see the AI handle the dual leadership well and nice to see Stetina aggressive - just a pity he dropped from 16th, but I didn't expect him to be there, so it's fine.
Awesome hilly stage too. Bennett has moved up to 6th which is great. If he can consolidate (maybe move into a top 5), that would be perfect.

Hmm a good performance by pendletons here. Maybe the ice cream larder boys will not be bottom if PT heap like I have predicted.
Interesting that the hilly guys are well up on GC, makes sense with that one long diesal climb mountain stage. rujano was a bit if a risk here, mind you he should at least finish second with a stage win to boot.
Windy flat stage in a stage race like this good odds for breakaway and of course in this type of stage out pops the Eddie Stobart rider, mind you Bpost have the star floater of the year

If we don't try something, we will keep getting nothing... AI doesn't seem to like my team too much...

Nothing bad happened for my team on that stage so I am still happy.
Next stage is the big one!

Unsurprising that the break prevails on a kinda 'transition' stage, although that wind could have caused some havoc. Pleased to see that Avila continues to be competitive in sprint finishes. Now for the final stage; will the Ardennes style profile have any major impact on GC? - look forward to reading and fingers crossed for Chaves to be in the mix!
Once more, thanks for the consistency of reporting.

Win for Vesely! ... In a peloton sprint for 7th place. Nice report, thanks.

Good stage there, with Kupfernagel only gaining a few points we can take the points classification with Kwiatek with one more good performance. Now we need one more strong performance on the hills to seal an unexpected win. |

Nice win Sutty. We'll have to get used to this kind of stages won by the BA but quite surprised that the wind didn't make his effect on the pack.
Now Tsmoha hit us with the last stage! Looks awesome, I hope it meets the expectations.
Fingers crossed that Nazaret holds the 10th.

Nice reports all race tsmoha!
Really had expected a bigger chaos fight on that one. Not only last 10km.
Huge race for Valverde. HC races it is for wacko then. Those suit much more.
Also another good performance by Mobil. 2nd and 3rd in GC might be no win for them. But it`s huge still. Rujano really doing great. In especially on such a hilly route here.
Kwiatkowski wow. Really didn`t expect this pre season as I thought he was hyped to much. But this profile suited him very well in the end.
Bad luck Bennett. Still okay GC I guess while SN got a stage win in his home race, when Berhane couldn`t do as expected.
VdB for Count at least top5. Okay I guess with a stage win as well. |

Yap, pretty damn good race from both Kwiatek and Valv. Congrats to both managers!
Mobil can be pleased as well. As the final stage went, it could have been wworse for Rujano, who really struggled on that uphill finish. Dunno what happened to Bennett though. Being dropped prior to this climb...
Overall, not a too exciting race attacking wise, but still a nice fight for the GC then.

Another amazing race for us. GC and Points is way more than I ever expected with such a strong field, but Kwiatkowski really used his all-round climbing ability to good affect. Thought for a minute there Valverde could pass him, but that final sprint was amazing and was enough to seal the win.
Congrats to Eritel on the stage win there, nice to see them take win in their own race, even if Berhane did not do as expected. A good effort for Valverde as well for Pendletons, collecting valuable points for them.
This season has really started well, I think we're up at about 35-40 PPRD at the moment which is insane. I'm sure we'll be back down to earth very soon
Edit: Thanks tsmoha for the reports of course.

Fuck.
Well, it was expected, and Rujano tried.
Another GC podium in both our HC races.. Still no win.
3rd time lucky hopefully. Congrat's FDD. |

Smit 3rd on the stage is good and all, but I really expected Bennett to move up a spot or two, not drop down to 12th. Really disappointing especially seeing what Kwiatek could manage.
Congrats FD! Thanks Tsmoha!

Well that went pretty damn well, shame Valv just missed out on GC/stage win but a good points haul surely. HC will be a slightly happier hunting ground I think. Congrats Aidan for the win and thanks tsmoha for the reports

Got it the wrong way round. I'm from one of the two African teams that had the bad luck
