I just hope they get caught before the Tour...
I've said it before, and I'll say it again...
Kessler and Klöden were all set to renew their contracts until the new management announced the strict doping controls...then they suddenly announced that they were "leaving because the team refused to renew the contracts of key helpers badly needed for the mountains of the tour".
as far as I can tell, they were the only good climbers who left. other than kohl, but kohl was offered a new contract and declined.
the sad thing is...besides them there's still two other teams that I'm sure are doping in an organized fashion. but that's going into a subjective area, so I won't name names.

I thought Kloden was also pissed off at T-Mobile because they never really put him in their #1 spot for the TdF. Correct me if I'm wrong, but he's finished 2nd and 3rd in the last 5 years, correct? And I believe the 2nd place he got with Ullrich on the team. And despite these successes, it seems that the leader for T-Mobile was always Jan or at least, it was never Kloeden.
Now of course, why he would go to Astana and have to play second fiddle to Vinokourov is a bit befuddling. If they both get to race for Astana in the TdF, I'm not sure who is better suited to be the leader. |

You Know if Kessler is found guilty, will he lose all his salary in that new doping thing. Or has that not come into force yet? |

that's part of the agreement they're supposed to sign. he didn't sign it, so no, that won't happen.

most people haven't signed yet. we'll see who has the day the tour starts. the list will be published. until then, it's perfectly normal not to sign.
but we should see a lot more signings now, since they NO LONGER have to go to Geneva to sign.
since so many complained they couldn't go to Geneva before the Tour, the UCI are now accepting that the riders just download a copy and sign it.

Don't think he would be so stupid to get a 2 year ban and just to gain some money when he might stay 2 years and get better paid

took his sweet time. first he consistently claimed innoncence and "anger at being wrongly accused" (his words).
now that he has no chance of furthering his career, he talks.

Yes..Jaksche promised already earlyer that this will be end of his career..but Tinkoff was stupid enough to sign him. It will be nice to hear Jaksche story..we gonna get nice public news about astana-würth.
