Stage 4
Should be a fun stage today. Quintana to win, today?
Hard to say, this stage is not insanely selective. Going for Quitana today tho. |

We talked a little about Antón previous to the race. Seems like he more or less has been relegated to the first man to catch the break which is sad to see. Definetely not what Movistar or Antón hoped when they signed him |

Thought the exact same thing. His style does look like Froome's.

Zakarin is big emerging talent from this race.
Henao managed to drop Kwiatek (typical Kwaitek though second hard stage dropped). Other than that was a bit of a cameo - though weakness shown from Quintana for me. He would have preferred not that chaotic finish.
So yeah - Astana/Movistar/Trek guys sooo much better than Sky/Katusha? Yawn...

Pretty anticlimactic stage in the end but tomorrow should be better with the brutal double ascent of the Alto de Aia - might actually see some time gaps!

First time I heard about Zakarin was yesterday. I can see he has some good results on PCS, but I didnt quite expect him to be this good today...
Edit: Ilnur Zakarin (Katusha) tested positive for doping in 2009. Hope he's riding clean nowadays.
Quintana showing weakness today. Ion helping out brilliantly and showing what a versatile rider he is, I thought he would be dropped today, but clearly is is aiming for top-10 with a more than decent TT in a weeklong stage race. Glad to see Purito winning again, he should be the favourite again for tomorrow, but will lose it all on the TT. Story of his life.

Purito looked flawless in that last kilometer. He's game for Ardennes and I love it.
