Major developments have been happening since the tour of Polonge, where Andrey Zeits triumphed in front of our home crowd.
We have been in deep negotiations with our sponsors and they have both declared they are staying with the team for another season.
Netia were very happy with the team composition and were pleased with results, particularly the tour de Polonge win, discussions were to be had but the end result was a similar agreement to last year, at least a 40% Polish and at least 50% Eastern European squad and goals and rider targets that will be disclosed closer to the transfer season, also promises were made for a higher budget if we reach the PCT next season.
Norske Skog were a more delicate issue, they were happy with Adam Stachowiak finishing 4th in the tour of Norway and Kristian Sobota's general performances but were unhappy with the lack of Norweigen riders, especially as Krister Hagen has not been very active during the season. They eventually agreed on the terms that we have at least 4 Norweigen riders next season and that we keep Adam Stachowiak signed for the team.
Guerciotti also signed again as the teams equipment sponsor, although with the request that should the team reach the Pro continental tour, it would help to see an Italian rider in the squad. ProAction, Elite, Shimano and Przewozy Regionalne were all content to sign for another season while Elko is pulling out of sponsorship, leaving a space open on the jersey for sponsors to put their name. Which we are currently looking for a sponsor to fill the position of, while Sandvik have expressed interest in a Swedish cyclist in the squad.
We are still searching for a sponsor to replace Elko but ultimately we have had a very good time resigning sponsors for next season.
A very nice breakaway win for Der to seal some more points Also keeping the sponsors so we can see more of that beautiful jersey

11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant." [PT] Xero Racing
Krisa from Sportful again designed our jersey this season, our sponsor's remained similar, so the jersey was not going to change too much, although krisa still produced a beautiful jersey for Netia - Norske Skog 2016.

We achieved two of our 5 season goals this season, Andrey Zeits had a great performance in Poland to take our most important goal, although aside from that we had some of our worst performances in goal race (*Cough*Zuri-Metzgete*Cough*) and unfortunately didn't complete any of our other race goals.

The riders are rated by how much they earned there wage this season, despite this not being a definitive ranking, however it gives a good idea of how the top riders earned their wage, which is key to 2016 rider renewal choices. Still the award of best rider of the season came down to three riders, Zsolt Der (Giro del Capo and Tatranska Klasika wins), Adam Stachowiak (Amazing Tour of Norway performance and topping the Point per Wage rankings) and Kristian Sobota (Amazing Consistency in sprints).
The Netia Rider of the year is:
Spoiler
Zsolt Der!
The Serbian champion dropped from the Pro Tour team Wikipedia to the Continental division this season and enjoyed amazing success highlighted by winning the Giro Del Capo and Tatranska Klasika. Making Zsolt Der the first ever Netia Rider of the Year.
Here are some photos of him in action:

We thank all the organisers of the MGUCI and the other team managers for the enjoyable and great season.

Rumours are beginning that Andrey Zeits could leave Netia - Norske Skog this season, the team manage quote "He [Zeits] was amazing for us this season but the sponsors aren't interested in having a Kazakh or non-European rider on the team." The news doesn't come as a surprise, despite winning the Tour de Polonge, the team isn't likely to need him it PCT and it seems the continental division is best for Zeits. None of this information has been confirmed, but it's likely another continental team will have a great hills leader next season.
Seriously though I've decided it's good to see you getting a spot in PCT, so we together can develop polish cycling into a new era! Good luck with your transfer season.
Last transfer season we shared the polish market, doubt that will come to show this year and we're gonna step each other on our toes Good luck!

We choose to ignore 'unimportant' pieces of information. Congrats though, we'll beat you next year.
Thanks, we just need to get two Polish PT teams and eventually become the greatest nation in the MG
Yeah, we'll probably have some problems this season, but then again there aren't that many good Polish free agents in the db pre-reneweals (Niemiec, 72Mo, 72TT has the highest overall) so hopefully won't be too bad, still who knows what will happen in transfers . Good luck in the transfer season!
