A bit late on this, but would like to claim that in Venchis case, this is slightly inaccurate. It was more a case of me going all-in on one rider (Cunego) without really having prepared a plan B. As he went over my budget, the other big stars were already gone. So although I did end up going hard on talents in the last part of the transfer season, it was definitely not the case that I didn't try to stay up. Wink
