Kiriyenka is going through win this stage. Majka and TST is caring too much about the mountain jersey.

Kiryienka looking strong - so good at setting a rhythmic pace whether at head of peloton or on a solo attack.

VDB attacking the break... hihi, because why work with other riders with so many kilometers to go? (Does he know what he's doing actually?)
Aashiro pulls quite a grimace there, keep pushing

looks like setpieces come into motion for some great acton on final climbs
Also, Arashiro going bit (too) fast there for VdB, Mollema, Majka & Schleck?!

Mollema now virtually ahead of Van Garderen. I wonder if BMC will defend their position or not |

I think Jvdb is one of the weakest atm |

According to Greg Henderson's twitter, he says that VdB is really sick. |

Yeah, it does also seems to me Mollema and VDB are trying to limit their losses (potentially win a little) by going into the break. I cant imagine either of them winning, like at all.
Good showing by Movistar as well, again. None of those guys are able to win the stage, I guess, but they can be usefull later for Valv. It will all come down to legs at the end though, that climb is just brutal. |

Well.
It is the best solution for VDB and Mollema to limit their timeloss. They haven't been looking to well these last few days |

Indeed it is. And who knows if either of them suddenly get diamonds in the bottom of Adet. Definely worth a try. |

True.
But if you look at the timegap right now, and one believes that they will ride these last 2 climbs decently, they could actually gain time on the peloton, if not FDJ or AG2R wants to put some hard pace on. |
