Im pretty sure Horner wont even come close to winning. I doublt he will be 100% in July due to the crash in April and what is he, 50 years old? On the other hand, that didnt hold him back last year |

I'm actually hoping that Horner can beat Froome and Contador in the Tour then. better then if either of those two win
Horner would be as much of a farce as Froome winning if not more.
Of course, but it would also be much more hilarious to watch.
It would be comedy GOLD!

No Tour de France for Carlos Betancur, he will target the Vuelta and World Championships.
Takes a bit from Tour as he is a very exciting rider, but to be fair this makes Vuelta amazing.
Henao, Betancur, Uran, Contador, Quintana....

Add Purito to your list and it seems that after another ridiculous Tour (although I hope Contador will perform something like today, Fuente De or Telegraphe) we may see a really exciting Vuelta

Did you really mention Henao, and not Purito... Wanna bet, if Nieve is riding, he will get a better result than Henao? |

Clearly I forgot Purito.
Anyhow Henao missing most of season and being so fresh ( something as many riders have shown is vital ) will be key for Henao doing very well here. He should be Top 5 here really in GC.

anyone else finding all these incidents causing riders to not compete for months, and in many cases come back stronger than ever, starting to form a pattern?
i dont think i can think of a season with so many unfortunate events that just happens to cause whatever star rider to suddenly go out of competition for around 60 days. |

Because winning a grand tour is too mainstream?

Interesting interview with Bouhanni and Madiot here. He (Bouhanni) apparently has 3 offers with the same salary and same length.

Many teams are interested in Wilco Kelderman. BMC, Orica and Sky would like to contract him. I hope he'll stay at Belkin.

Sky? Really? Why are they in contact with every rider? isn't that more of the Tinkoff strategy?

Oh, there's a transfer thread actually
But yeah, hope he either renews with Belkin or goes to Orica. Not Sky pls.
